Ice-cream brings smiles to people when eaten so we hope to bring smiles to people with the infusion of colourful local flavours into the stool design! To enjoy ice cream, one should have healthy teeth - something the Tooth Fairy Fund is able to provide to the underprivileged. The serving of these ice creams usually comes in rectangular blocks; hence the shape is used to create an abstract pattern to decorate the tooth in an interesting and cheerful manner.
Marrying art and oral health, the Charity Tooth Stools project aims to raise awareness of the importance of oral health in Singapore. To bring this project to life, 25 NYP students applied their artistic flair to uniquely design and paint 13 fibreglass stools. Shaped in the form of a tooth, these stools can be functionally used in offices, clinics or homes, or aesthetically displayed as decorative art pieces.
