People gotta realize that humans grow up and eventually they will move on from anything. No matter how good an artist, most people don't stay #1 fans for decades. Only a few. Hell, I know as someone who goes to concerts that when I show up hours early to be up front, only maybe half a dozen do too. So if in every city there's even just a dozen people willing to rock up early, then those are the only ones likely to stay obsessed. But all obsessions get boring and you end up having to take a break or you grow out of it.
It's why it's best to always have a healthy balance of anything. Everything and anything in this universe relies on balance. Go too far one way and the pendulum swings back the other way.
So yeah, if an artist knows this and stays stagnant, it's harder for new younger fans to come along. And at this point, more young people are aware and fans of newer artists than Nicki. It's wild. She hasn't even been out that long. I remember her debut in the industry. Feels like only a few years ago. So stay true to yourself or learn to adapt quickly. That's what pop artists do until they grow tired of chasing it. But the artists that are unique and stay true to themselves, last forever. And their music is timeless. Most rap these past 2 decades is boring and outdated and becomes irrelevant fast. Most of these rappers are wack. All for the moment. I call them TikTok rappers. Here and gone in seconds.
