The winner is everyone that makes it to the ground safely🙌🤣😂🤣😂
Uncle has probably been doing this for decades and is well experienced. Probably the most experienced in the group.
"All these people will have life insurance" LMFAO... I was not expecting that fine Sir.
Cool! This is from Norway, where I am from. We have an extreme sport week every year where all the crazy people from all over the World get together and do crazy things.
Same i'm also from Norway
I used to surf a lot but I was never remotely top class, the only thing I recon I ever got close to being world class was running over dangerous rocks at full speed, where I had to maintain momentum in order to never fall, just keep running - any mistake would have resulted in a lot of pain - I have not yet seen that as an extreme sport ;)
The wing suites are more designed after a sugar glider than birds
Love those things! Those people are out of their mind lol
I died when dude said, "All these people will have life insurance"
I'm Norwegian. Looking at this landscape, I immediately thought "Oh, that is Norway - that's soooo Norway." and then I heard "Å - fy faaaen!"
hehe.. ja :) fy faen!
Tell them they don't compete against each other. Just for the fun and making it alive.. Some of the best have died from it.
Beautiful Norway ❤️ There are no points or winning in this "sport", it's just for fun 😊
If you survive you win lol, people jumping down mountains with squirrel suits is usually dying like flies for real
Exactly, this is NOT a contest❗️ The only prize is the huge adrenaline rush❗️ 🤗🇳🇴
You just watch! Somebody will figure out a way to turn this into a competitive sport, with a point system and all.
@@ephennell4ever wouldnt be hard to if you wanted to. first there are tricks to be done, like grabbing a flag from on the cliff, or doing flips, or doing acrobatics as a group, or having rings to fly through...
Their is a winner in this sport it is the person who can jump from the lowest base and successfully deploy their parachute and land . The lowest successful base jump is the ace
I would LOVE to see the guys try skydiving at least once (tandem skydiving, attached to an intructor jumper). I'm terrified of heights, but I tried skydiving, and I liked it so much I did it again!
Yess, and good job! Proud of you (: and do you get that nauseating feeling when you fall for a while?
@@Cassxowary Nooooo, not at all nauseating. The free fall part was an absolute rush! The wind noise is so loud, because you're falling at 120 MPH, and then when the parachute opens it's dead quiet...weird but cool.
I loved their reaction when they said even Babu could do it, when seeing an "uncle" do it.
If they cannot do it… maybe indoor skydiving is an option.
they're too scared to do a lot of things at a theme park, need to walk before they can run
The word is glide not float (: and it’s not in the olympics exactly a sport as there’s no competition or winning it’s just for fun and the thrill and feeling of it but they’re not in any danger, don’t worry, but please take them indoor skydiving!
Have a good day and be kind all
There are no people on this planet that do not go "WOW" when watching these vids. Amazing stuff.
Should have them react to Jeb Corliss " Grinding The Crack" next, still one of the best wingsuit vids out there.
The drop from Kjerag in Lysefjorden, Norway where this video is from is not 1000 ft its 3642 feet (1,110 meters). ;-)
I wish I had the courage to do this just once. What a rush! Amazing experience through the video, I enjoyed it as much as our guys did. Thank you!
I would base jump, but only if it was guaranteed I'd land on top of Holly Willoughby.
do it....
it way less scarying that you think.
@@chaztitan6457 Base jumping isn’t for beginners though. You need to manage ordinary skydiving first, so it’s not a suitable «do once» thing. Then do a tandem jump from a plane… 🤗
@@chaztitan6457 Money. And money. And more money. Plus health. I have a wonky heart and already survived one heart attack. I'm not supposed to even go on exciting VR rides.
@@lottatroublemaker6130 i agree, i take back my original statement.... most people cant stand up for their rights let alone jump off of anything
I could be wrong, but I think the reason they fly so close to the cliff-face is because there's an updraft going up the side of it that helps keep their wingsuits aloft for a longer flight.
I really hope Raheen sees this: with practice and determination anyone can do anything
It's exciting to watch base jumpers going off the Dawn Wall on El Cap in the early morning while climbing the same wall. It's a great view.
Haha. These guys are cool. 'Uncle is jumping!' 'Babu can do it'. Babu must mean grandfather.
It could be a sport. A Frisbee could be tossed from the cliff and the jumper who grabs it from the air is the winner. Or the jumpers could have paintball guns and have a flying battle, that would be huge. Or a base jump demolition derby.
Well, that was certainly something worth watching. Raeen is right - the scenery alone is worth it :D
After stunts people perform in their free time, you could show them something about professional movie stunts. Something like a list of the most spectacular or most dangerous physical stunts performed for movies.
Maybe a Jackie Chan compilation.
You show them a compilation of 'The Riskiest Stunts Ever', and they'll be saying "They are *all* insane! Every single one of those people is crazy!"
@@corryunedited8154 yup, for sure, my first thought was jackie chan, some behind the scenes footage...
"Lest her head has been broken"
Perish the thought lol
As for the environment, that's in Norway, the country I'm in.
I'd love to see what they'd think about some of the must see locations in the Nordic countries. :-)
I could watch these guys react to the opening of a tin of beans and still get the same enjoyment
Everyone should sky dive at least once, it is exhilarating
Wingsuits are awesome and I like how they said the divers were dressed as clowns 🙂🙏❤
I have never sky dived, and understand that it takes many "dives" before you can advance to wingsuits - but wow I so enjoy the vids of it - humans flying - what a dream.
I’m terrified of heights and I know it’s not the same, but I managed to do a hot air balloon ride in Morocco over the Atlas Mountains this summer. Absolutely loved it. Baby steps. I’ll try something else next.
Same since a kid, but I took a hot air balloon ride when I was 10. It was terrifying and fun at the same time. I was gripping the sides really hard!
How I love this channel . Such a great idea to show them. Love you guys
5:31 "I am wondering who will be the winner in this sport"
Anyone who's parachute opens and let's them land safely is the winner.
The "Wing Suits" these jumpers wear allow them to move forward quickly as they fall. The suit allows good maneuverability and they can steer to a landing location. Good Times !
The concern on all of their faces when they jumped for the first time 😅
There is an event in West Virginia called bridge day. It is held on the only day BASE jumping is legal in West Virginia .
These guys make my day, just can't wait to see what's next!!
Raeen has courage. 😁
I still remember when he saw his first hotbath.
I'm not sure I can imagine Babu wingsuiting (though it would be awesome!) - but I'm still pretty impressed that he seemed so comfortable on that glass platform on the skyscraper. He's certainly no chicken!
“They won’t bump it, they’ve practiced.” 😂😂😂. You should show them some wing suit base crashes.
You all should jump at least once. It is the best feeling to free fly.
yeah base jumpers with squirrel suits like these will often try to grab tree limbs as they glide past or do stunts on the way down. some people are insanely skilled at this.
the passing close is to catch the updraft that comes up along the rocks to get the longer lift and glide for longer farther away from the base less updraft and higher chance of falling like a stone
That is here in Norway❗️ 🇳🇴❤️
They react the way the rest of us do: "That's insane"!!!
Many flight suit base jumpers die every year. I remember seeing two disturbing videos. One was a documentary of a group of friends who did this. As the documentary progressed, there were fewer and fewer guys in the group until there were just a couple left. They kept dying one by one during filming. In one case, it was a young couple. The woman was carrying their child and they eventually died. The second video showed two very experienced base jumpers. One was considered the best of the best. They were jumping at an event in which one had to direct his flight suit under the bridge with people standing on it, while the more experienced jumper was supposed to go over the bridge and perform a very close "proximity" stunt. I think he was supposed to pop a balloon. Instead of popping the balloon, his body slammed into the top cable of the bridge and disintegrated. A spectator's camera captured just above the cable with spectators blocking the worst of it, caught a loud clank followed by a spray of mist. Men, women, and children witnessed the dreadful results. The mist was his body and blood vaporizing. The other base jumper didn't see what happened but narrowly missed running into his jumping partner's chute which could have killed him too. He noticed a small bundle where his friend used to be under the bright yellow chute. Looking down, he spotted a severed leg at the bottom of the canyon, and as he felt a spray of mist, he saw that he was covered in blood. That's when he realized his friend was gone. People glorify this sport for obvious reasons. It's the closest thing for a human to experience what it would be like to soar like an eagle. The problem is, it's a very risky endeavor. The flight suit and helmets offer almost no protection if something goes wrong. Just a sudden change in wind direction or an updraft can also mean certain death. Until they figure out a way to address the safety concerns, I think only a fool or a very selfish person who doesn't care about their loved one's feelings would engage in that activity. I was a young idiot once and while taking a risk, I snapped my foot off and my boyfriend at the time looked on in horror as my foot dangled backwards from the ankle like an earring. I was 33 at the time and couldn't work or play for 3 full months, and that was just a skateboard accident. At least I knew that I couldn't fall 100 mph from hundreds of feet up and smash into a mountainside. But it was still very stupid.
If you survive ... you are a winner. It's that simple.
This is not a competitive sport. It's a sport, same as bungee jumping. Just to have fun. However, The people that are jumping can make it competitive if they choose to.
That looks so scary! I'm afraid of heights. I'm nervous going too far up a ladder. I wouldn't do that even if I were offered tons of money!
Flightsuits!!! One can wear such a garment with a parachute; it makes the jumper able to fly. Yes, this is a VERY EXPENSIVE game! But fun to watch!!! Raheen, you should DO IT! You are young, and strong, and brave. Babu and I are old and our bones break easily. I don't think my brain would LET me jump off a mountain, even with a parachute!! I could jump; but the landing would likely be problematic.
Thank god for brains mines said the same good old brain thanks fer bein there 😝🤣💙🏴💙🏴
Glide, not fly, lol, you need propulsion for that and our arms aren't strong enough.
I've been thinking that maybe they would like to react to original bungee-jumping tradition from Vanuatu and how it has evolved
I first saw base jumping in the movie "Last Holiday" with Queen Latifah. I didn't know people did such a thing! But I'll be content just to watch lol
Got to show some big wave surfing!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE show them "speedflying" videos, the precision is next level and a true rush.
As others have said, it's more a sport of "doing" than a sport of "winning." As long as no one gets hurt, then everyone wins here. I can't WAIT til I find a place that offers sky diving or wingsuiting
They stay close to the face of the mountain to take advantage of the updraft that is at the face. It offers them more lift.
ADRENALINE HEAVEN !
Amazing 👏 🙀 thank you 😊 🙏 ❤️
Good to see you,an a new guy, here💜🍉🍍🍓🍇🥝🍔🍧🍨🍥🐦🙏🏻🌈🙏🏿🙏🏽🙏❤️ tell them wing-suits are from looking at flying-fox and flying-squrials, and being brave..those parashutes have motors now and can go 10km 30,000ft up...see you at raglan NZ
“A woman would set herself on fire and jump in the pool.”
_Wow._
Very Wise people . .
I've had a private pilot's license, but for the life of me I cannot jump out of a plane or base jump. I have even taken other friends to sky dive, but stayed on the ground and watched.
ah, you are sane then 🤣
Show them a video of "flying squirrels".
"These people will have life insurance!" 😂😂- Mr. Gudu.(hope I spelled that right😍)
It amazes me what human beings are capable of doing
"one day he will jump" 🤣
so cool!
Would love to watch them see bungy jumping.
It's a bit more than what I'd like to try. But great photography.
Honestly, you don't start learning next to a man-eating block of granite. 1) learn how to control your body as you fall. 2) learn to control your parachute. 3) learn to control a "wingsuit". You use the same movements in step 1 that you use to control your "wingsuit". Raeen would LOVE it (after the first 10 seconds, lol)
Love to see the look on their faces if they got to watch those crazy mountain jumpers in their gliding suits who stick close to the cliff and thread themselves through rocks and such
Are they speaking tamil by any chance?
Please let me know, if you can tell. Thanks.
i actually saw a fatal impact with the mountain at that exact spot in 2013. not very fun.
Unfortunately, it seems to be a common thing in the sport. The closer you get to the mountain, the more thrilling, until you die. :(
That’s the reason I will never do that. Every sport or hobby got it’s dangers, but this is just asking for a Desaster
there are two levels of cliff jumpers .... grand champion and stuff on a rock --- Norm Macdonald
There is a game on quest 2 called Rush. It is skydiving. Would like to see Raheem try it.
Show them the WING SUIT VIDEOS!!! It’s 🔥🔥🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🦅🦅🦅 specilly Jeb Corliss 🔥🔥🔥
Yeah.. my country :) Norway.
I think they would get a kick out of watching a video featuring Sydney Kennett doing an Indoor Skydiving routine.
Show them the RedBull jump from space next.
Is it just me, or does the guy in the middle look stoned af?
They should've shown wind gliders instead.
What's a wind glider?
this was a terribly edited orginal video. So many better one available
Show them paragliding, people who strap a big fan on their back and use a parachute to travel around.
Who is the winner? The ones who live.
Is Babu alright?
He didn't look well last time.
Thoughts are with ya.
✌️❤️🇳🇿
'If he can jump then our Babu can also jump'
Raeen, I honestly think Babu will disagree with you.
"åhhh fyyy faaaaen" lol, did not expect to see someone from sweden in this video
Norway. Pretty sure that was a Norwegian. At least the location this was filmed is in Norway (and you can hear a lot of background chatter in Norwegian).
No one is praising the crazy camera men sitting on the edge of the rock with his legs hanging down ( he is not wearing parachute !? )
Another dynamite reaction brothers 🤣
One question: How does one learn to practice this sport?? Usually one learns by repeating the activity over and over, just like the birds learning to fly. Here, one slip or miscalculation could mean disaster on ones maiden flight.
Great to share these times with you all, and thanks to all working in the background, who's faces we never see.
You start with normal Skydiving, Tandem with a Trainer. Then you move on to Wingsuit in the open Sky. And then you get Basejumping.
Also indoor skydiving
my friend we have tall towers with massive fans at the bottom they go so fast its enough to lift a human into the air in the tower so you can fall for ever and practice in safety so you do not go to paradise before you can appreciate it.
I think the answer to, "How do these people win at this game?" is when they land in one piece.
Has watching these sort of videos kindled the adrenaline junky in Raeen? Maybe some day arrange for Raeen to sky dive.
Yeah, it's really expensive, but it doesn't have to include helicopters.
You can climb or hike to the mountains top and jump from there that way.
Takes longer to get a new jump, but hey, you save the helicopter ride.
The flying squirrel suits are pretty cool, though I think they're being foolish by zooming next the ciff and remaining in that area for an extended period of time - points be damned. Safety is the issue, and you're going too fast and too close to the wall if you make an error/encounter a problem. If points REALLY are the issue, then grade for aerobatics, distance, formations etc... , instead of pointless danger. Even the best people have made mistakes and died doing this stuff.
Courage is not required. Lunacy is correct. I learned to stand and walk on two legs 60 years ago and it wasn't to follow anyone anywhere.
Sometimes it takes more courage not to follow. In this case, it is easy and I am content. The videos we don't see are the tragedies.
Where is babu ? I hope he feel a better form.
If you don’t die or break something & get down on the ground in one piece… THATS THE WIN 😅😂😂😅 If you lose you pretty much dead bahahah need insaneee courage to do that!
Why not straight _wing suit_ compilations?
The winner is the one who doesn't crap his pants...
I like that Raeen said the families of these people are courageous for allowing them to do such dangerous hobby.
Have the react to most beautiful places in America.
cool. show them "Grinding the Crack" by Jeb Corliss.
also: explain wingsuits and proximity flying
This is a sport that’s done for adrenaline not for winners and losers
Ooooooooo😮😮😮 where his babo😮😮
As a (former ?) paraglider, I wish they had been told that this is indeed a very, very dangerous sport, and that many of the most experienced have been killed while doing it. Adrenaline is a potent and dangerous drug.
I want to do this
Norway,
