Simple Living Alaska has the frozen weather. They keep hardy-breed chickens successfully in their barn. Also gardening supplies with a potter’s bench and a grow-light rack for starting seedlings and growing microgreens!! Some ideas!🤎 XOjennyinseattle (The Bookworm)

@@ByFabianRosenberg Start the fruit trees and berries and rhubarb and asparagus….the things that take years to give a harvest!
Pollinators attractors.
I think you will need a greenhouse as soon as possible. 🤎

Found two rhubarb plants. But might get another one in fall. In love with Rhubarb and wish I had been able to harvest more this year. Asparagus would be really interesting to grow as well. Might have to get that in for next year. We've got plenty of berries but made a raised bed for some strawberries. And gave all the fruit trees some love, but thinking we might have to put a couple more in as some of them are in quite bad condition. Possibly graft some of the varieties that we like on them.
Also, a green house is really something that is high on the wish list. Sourcing materials for one, we'll see when we have the resources to make one! :D
