Atomic Habits by James Clear. What a lifechanging book in case you implement these included ideas

Goodbye, Things by Fumio Sasaki is definitely my favorite minimalism book. It’s my personal bible. I recommend it to everyone!
I agree wholeheartedly!!
My favorite as well! It’s such a delightful read.
I just bought that book a few days ago! Good to hear others enjoy it!
I agree! Love this one
I have read it for three times and still felt very inspired. I love to listen the audiobook when I declutter.
I haven't read that many minimalism books, but I recommend "Essentialism". I want to read more about minimalism, thats something I really believe in!
Goodbye, Things by Fumio Sasaki is 🖤 I always listen to its audiobook especially if in times when I need to find my center. Definitely a classic.
I'm off- topic, but wanted to say I just watched the documentary Less is Now. Thank you for the honesty with which you shared your journeys and your ideas.Your eloquence always touches me.
I just enjoyed reading Joshua Becker's Things That Matter.
My favorite book is the "Untethered Soul" by Michael Singer.
Notes on a Nervous Planet by Matt Haig (an English author) isn't a minimalism book per se but carries some good messages about living in a busy world. Matt writes from the perspective of someone who has gone through difficult times with his mental health.
On minimalism, I took a lot from Digital Minimalism by Cal Newport.
Thank you for the book suggestions.
I was surprised to see Dave Ramsey here. We used his program to pay off our debt and it worked but the key thing is we did the actual work. Having said that Dave, by his dedication to debt free living kept us motivated during a very unpleasant time in our lives and set us up for success.
Since we have eliminated a lot of financial clutter from our lives and have improved our organizational skills, we are now we are ready to move into a new phase which in my mind involves getting rid of a lot of our material clutter.
The best minimalism/detachment book I have ever read, that has REALLY changed my life, was: “The Little Way Of Living With Less,” by Laraine Bennett. I’ve read a lot of minimalist books, but this one gave my journey meaning and purpose.
Cozy Minimalist and Essentialism are the two that helped me the most.
Goodbye Things by Fumio Sasaki is wonderful and very relatable audio book
Hey guys!
One book I'd like to recommend is "Less is More: How Degrowth Will Save the World", by Jason Hickel. The minimalism is viewed from an environmentalist perspective, instead of it like a "trend" or an "label". It speaks about consumerism, capitalism, and how we're prone to getting so much stuff that we don't need. I think you'll love it!
One additional recommendation: Jason is quite a vocal person, and I think he would be a great guest on the podcast! Maybe you guys could hit it off!
Goodbye, Things was excellent - have listened to it 3 times
Reading love people use things now! Just finished Essentialism. Things that matter is next on my list. Atomic habits was great also.
Henry David Thoreau's "Walden" has to be considered a classic discussion of minimalism, as should many of the writings of Mahatma Gandhi.
Back in the 1980s, when I was a college student, what you call "minimalism" was called "voluntary simplicity." Two of the books I recommend from that period are "Voluntary Simplicity," by Duane Elgin (1981) and "Freedom of Simplicity," by Richard J. Foster (1981). A bit later came "How Much Is Enough?" by Alan Durning, which looks at the environmental impacts of the consumer society. And still later came "Dematerializing," by Jane Hammerslough (2001).
Thinking outside the box: America's greatest novel, "The Great Gatsby," is about the emptiness of consumerism. Though Jay Gatsby was surrounded by opulence, he could never have the one "thing" he wanted-Daisy Buchanan and the culture she represented.
Walden by Henry David Thoreau
Yes, this was the first book that introduced me to minimalism!
Reading this now and loving it ❤
Change your thoughts change your mind
Wayne Dyer
Let go of identity.. yes.. this is an important concept. TheMinimalists is my book.
My favorite is "How much is enough?" by Robert Skidelsky.
THE BEST minimalist children's book is called "Duck Gets a Job" and it reminds me of you guys so much! Duck decides to get a job because all of his friends claim they're happy working in a big office building in a corporate job. He is hired there and is completely unhappy and quits on the first day. He secretly loves art and decides to follow that love and gets his dream job by working hard and never giving up. It's well worth the read. Duck Gets A Job by Sonny Ross
My favourite books are Tender Is The Flesh and The Secret History (not minimalism books but I presume that wasn't the question) 😂
Goodbye Things ❤
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello, habits by Fumio Sasaki. ありがとうございます💚
Talk Less please.
Is that the name of a book or are you just being obnoxious?
