Thanks for the advice Teppo! I just passed 3k subscribers and definitely have hit some of the roadblocks you mentioned. Having a better structure at creating content will help me for sure.
These tips are golden and I will do my best to implement them into my YT workflow next to job and two small kids :) But the thing with thumbnail and title at the end is so true. When I changed that habit by thinking about my title and thumbnail first, every other part falls quite easier into place. I past the 4k watch hour last week and now closing in to the 1k subs to get monetised. Will continue the journey with your tips. Thanks for sharing! Btw sooo close to 100k subs man!
good stuff again. I totally feel what you say about batching but sometimes it's just also impossible to do multiple scripts or films or edit session for the content I do ... but I'm aware I should be able to create faster than 20h for for a video .... also .. 100K subs around the corner for you ! epic & well deserved
@TeppoHaapoja I feel blessed indeed. Next time you are here, give me a shout. We are a tight family of photographers in filmmakers here. I will show you around. When you were a few months ago, I almost pinged you, but you were on a family holiday. I am a photographer and a filmmaker, and I will be happy to assist.
Your b-roll is really excellent Teppo! It's got a bit of a Matt D'Avella vibe. Did you spend some time going through old footage and organizing it all into folder for easy access? Sort of like your own stock footage? I've been meaning to do something like that, but never get around to it.
Hey Teppo! Great content as always. Question (and maybe your followers have opinions as well), can you have a channel with many different themes on TH-cam today? I understand that the algorithm will hate you and growth will be slow...but hear me out. I think the greatest danger to content creators is being known for something that's only part of who they are. I love cameras and tech and all things videography. However, I also love playing guitar, being a pastor, spending time with my family and creating vlog memories, creating passion projects, and so on and so forth. I've noticed that a lot of creators reach a crisis moment because they feel trapped in their own creation (TH-cam profile). Again, I understand that growth would be slow, but is there the ability to create a channel (that's not just vlog style) that represents a creative more holistically? In my opinion it would reduce burnout. I have over 100 videos on my channel ranging from tech reviews to vlogs to songs I've written to encouraging thoughts. I figure if ever my channel popped I wouldn't have to change who I was or my content... Anyway, just a thought I've been wrestling with and wondered what you thought. (Sorry for the essay comment). Well done, if you made it to the end. Cheers!!
I think its good to have a primary focus, but then you should incorporate your personal interests and opinions into that primary focus. For example my channel focuses on content helping beginner content creators, but that doesn't mean I cant film myself snowboarding, while making a tutorial. Im combining my personal interests with my primary focus
Thanks for the response! And that makes sense. I realize a "main focus" will grow your channel and give viewers more direction for your content/channel. Yeah, I just haven't really seen, outside of the vlog channels, good traction for incorporating holistic life within your niche. I realize there might be some natural crossover to other interests (like action cameras and action sports), but yeah. I suppose the solution is to brand your channel focus "All the things I'm interested in." lol! Thanks again! @@TeppoHaapoja
Is it just me or do one feel like quit watching when someone tells you to “make sure to watch to the end”. Because it’s you I watched until the end anyway. But I like the Haapoyas. ;)

Congrats man! Thats a great start
I totally fall into the trap of title and thumbnail at the end, good info here. Get this man to 100k
Its hard to change the habit but its a gamechanger in the end!
I love the idea of doing everything in smaller steps. I tend to get in a rhythm with either idea building or filming. Thanks!!
Its a game changer!
It makes so much sense thank you for your content!
Glad to help!
Thanks for your amazing effort 🙏

Yeah every niche is different, but just take the principle of what stages in the creation process that you can batch!
And thank you!
Love it! Thank you for the general outline. The creative process is hard and any edge you can get helps 🙌
Glad to help 👌
Great Video. You should make a tutorial on how you set up that part timeline. I love motion vfx

I found all three codes, now what do I do with them?
The people who claim them first on motionvfx website would get 1 free plugin.

How long does it take for you to edit a video? I'm curious!🤗
Totally depends! Probably 5-10 hours
@@TeppoHaapoja Thanks for the reply! Interesting☺ Then it's not only me it takes hours🤗
I’ve been uploading weekly now for a year and I’m below a thousand subscribers, does that make me boring 😮😮😂
Nope! Just keep pressing on, and keep evaluating whether or not my contents providing value
