FYI, “hard woods” and “soft woods” are not named based on how they feel or how easily they dent. Hard woods come from “deciduous” trees (trees that lose their leaves annually ) and soft woods come from conifer trees. Hard wood trees can be denser since they generally grow slower, but it’s not their defining factor. 👍
Not true Our Australian hardwoods are not deciduous Look up “Iron bark” “Yellow box” Or “Blackbutt” Some of these timber’s are more dense than concrete

This is an old video but I find it funny. I'm looking at two huge boxes that contain my JBL 590s that I'm about to move in the next couple weeks. Thank God I saved the boxes lol. I'm moving to a very similar setting with acreage and can't wait to really let them sing. Crown amp will provide the juice. Those Fortes are probably on my bucket list for speakers. One day.
Those are the ugliest speakers I’ve seen in a long time. And for $5000? Really? They look like cheap Sanyo speakers from the 80’S or mabey magnavox but if your gonna put $5000 speakers in your house they should look “at least” like solid wood. These look like vinyl flooring. If these were 40 yr old speakers I would let it slide. But these are brand new. The way they look I’m not sure it even matters what they sound like. They look cheap
@@ZReviews I had a pair of kg4s they sounded great but they were also like $700 new. Not $5000. And back in the 80's that was a traditional style. Now it's boring boxy and outdated looking. And their not even vintage. Their brand new
@Scott Cooper I agree. To each there own. I don't like these because the way they look. For 5k I'm gonna buy a speaker that looks good to me. Jmo. I didn't tell anyone not to buy them I shared my view on the way they looked

They look exactly like they always have. Its all about that driver and crossover tech.
