If the transmission was slipping which im sure it was. A transfer case change is not going to stop that if its the transmission and not the case itself.
Hey bud how difficult is it to change the transfer case seal? Or how much would a mechanic charge to replace the transfer case seal? Thanks in advance:)
2:38 .I used these milwaukee ratchets to rebuild a 350 chevy block for my school, but i never knew you could remove the anvil. Is there a reason why you remove yours and put it on right before you work? I'm thinking of getting both the 3/8 and 1/2 in to make side jobs go easier. Also, love the content.
Its the insider ratchet it comes with different attachments and has its own sockets as well pretty cool tool I'm debating on getting one and each time I watch his videos I'm a little more convinced lol
Looks to be one of the easiest transfer case jobs I’ve seen
Only pays like .8 under warranty. I replaced a ton of these on MDXs when I was at Acura.

You are one heck of a mechanic & technician. Open your own shop someday.

What would be the expected labor time to replace a transfer case seal?
What was the symptom on that? Loud whine?
is the 30K miles intervals Honda recommends too long or safe to follow?
How many miles on the car?

.8 of a pint of fluid!! Honda should be ashamed of making a unit that small a not connecting it to a larger reservoir of fluid.
It’s not just Honda. Mazda does the same thing with their awd systems. Half a quart of fluid for the diff and transfer case
