    When you remove the tensioner it extends all the way out. It has a one-way shear pin so unless you remove the spring first it's going to extend all the way out to the last adjustment.

    I loosened and removed all the bolts including the two under the cover and valve cover won't separate from one side only the side that won't separate is the clutch side on my raptor 660 could someone help me out I don't recall having this problem. could it be possible that I would have to take out timing chain tensioner to get pressure off would that cause it to bind up

    This is not a grizzly 660 it's a raptor engine totally different this video is named incorrectly

      it is a 1998 yamaha grizzly 600 4x4...
      he didn't say its a 660 pay better attention
