Absolutely, it winds me up, I watch other people’s playthroughs, I’m shouting at the screen feed and brush your horse
I like John’s horse better than all of them , his horse is huge , when you are riding beside him it looks like his horse is almost twice the size of any horse you can get. And sometimes I can get on a horse and I look too big for it , they look bigger until you get on them and get beside John’s horse
Just started a new playthrough with goal of maxxing all stats before I start on story missions. very informative as usual bro
That's what I just did 😆 did all the legendary animals I can and finished up to the panther. Wrapping up horseman 10, but I've started some missions since all my stats are maxed. Got all the treasure maps and random gold bars... almost finished Albert Mason. I've done so many side missions and random encounters... I've lost track of what else I've accomplished. Also obviously built legend of the east satchel and collected tons of furs for the trapper. I finally went into Valetine with Uncle yesterday and got drunk with Lenny.
Horse hunting wise, I've got a missouri fox trotter, black Arabian, raven black shire and the ultimate edition reverse dapple thoroughbred. Not enough stable space, too many good horses. I might sell the black Arabian to get the race lady's horse after I find her for my 2nd race.
I got that American Standardbreed Palomino that kills his owner changing his shoe alongside the road between Valentine and Emerald Ranch. Took me a long time to get him to level 4, more so than the other horses I collected, so I have to agree with the video that better horses take longer to achieve bonding goals. With the alligator saddle, I can sprint this horse non-stop and don't even have the boar talisman yet. He's also good around gunfights and predators. Walked right over a couple alligators and hardly twitched. Never tried to buck me either. I think the key to horses in this game is finding ones that not only have good stats but even better traits. Having a super fast horse and acceleration is cool but the other stuff seems to come into play more often in the game.
Glad this vid came out. I’ve been stationed on Mars for 5 long years so this was quite helpful. Anyway, everybody knows the coolest horse is the leopard Appaloosa.
You’re a gift to all us “Armchair Arthurs™️”.
Thank you for watching friend.
I laughed till I cried when I saw Seamus all roughed up with a head bandage on. Tossing the dynamite into his stall was beautiful. Another awesome vid Rockworth. 😂✌👍
The Leopard & Brown Leopard Appaloosas are my go to once available. The Chocolate Roan Dutch Warmblood is another go too solid stats and excellent health and stamina even starting out. Once you hit level 4 they are among the highest
Where do you find the chocolate Roan. ?

Bro just found your channel a couple weeks ago and by far the best contents i will join soon 🎉🎉
I appreciate it partner.
The wild MFT you get on one of the side missions is my favorite horse by far!
But on a black mane and tail on it and it’s better looking than Baylock imo
I called mine Tamala :) she’s best friends with Taima haha
Apparently not the wolf king though :)
Calming your horse while riding will restore stamina proportional to bonding level and maximum stamina. Combined with -50% stamina consumption from saddles and +20% or more increase in stamina recovery, a high stamina horse is able to sprint indefinitely.
Steal the Brindle gray thoroughbred from the racer girl- do it after she races you. Grab her horse. Best thoroughbred in the game. 🤠💕
Or grab it from an odriscoll ambush if you don't want to steal it from a child 😂
A third golden bar of top speed can be unlocked after winning 3 races against NPCs or fellow gang members.
2 races
I've had this same horse. Yours did pretty good with predators. Mine wasn't too bad either. Maybe it has to do with how you handle the horse. Not turning the horses back on the predators etc.
It depends on a few factors.
--How well fed/full the horse's cores are.
--Type of threat.
--Proximity of threat.
--How quickly you can calm the horse down.
@@Enchilada1994 calming the horse is pressing L3 in, right? I don't think it helps all that much to be honest.
@@ExpectedBoyIt does help a lot. Do you hold down L3 or just press it a few times? There’s a huge difference.
@@b-wak I hold down L3 while trying to stay away from the threat. Does that work better, or I have to press it quickly?
@@Enchilada1994that’s funny, I always do the opposite :v has anybody tested it?
SOOOOOO much to do in this game, I can't keep up with it all, so know I'll miss 90% of it 🤣
played this game a lot. what i discovered is, when you save your horses life you gain their loyalty.
Saw a bunch of these horses and caught the dapple gray first then let her go for the blood ray! :)
Very informative and fun video again.
I will collect that talisman tomorrow. Thanks, mister !
I love to practice the moves with my horses. Some are handy in battle.
I like to make them rear up in towns. The town folk are always impressed by that. 😎🤠
30:18 Pirouette.
I'm so mad I'm doing a 2nd playthrough and totally forgot to get it early. I didn't bring my steam deck to work today... so I have to wait until I get home 😭
i started it a playthrough and start of chapter 2 i went ahead n got the black arabian from st denis , further on i did the uncle mission and lost my arabian because it was still a temporarily horse. RIP
@14:20 that kick 🤣🤣.
For the trick you called “drifting”, an equestrian would call it “leg yield” :) if the horse were curved the opposite way it would be a “half pass”. Also, that weird trotting in place the horse does in RDR2 bears little to no resemblence to a true piaffe xD but ok we’ll let you have that one :) thank you for the very informative video! I’m curious, would the result be the same if any of the other 3 options had been selected when you asked us to vote for a horse without context? Or would it actually be a different video?
I’m guessing the reason you learned so much about the horses is because that’s the part of the game you focus on. I mean, with stamina like that you clearly haven’t been running on your own two feet amirite?
Lol, that’s actually kinda true partner. My Arthur takes his time, no need to rush. However, to be clear, I focus on every aspect of the game, not just horses. Take a ride through my content.
@@RockworthRDR2 Well mister, I just might. I’ve been playing in a similar way, just kinda meandering around instead of sprinting full speed from point to point.
I did the same sort of thing in GTA V campaign, sometimes I’d just walk down the streets of Los Santos and take in the city from a first person perspective.
Arabians may not have the highest top speed, but their ability to "drift" is far above any other breed.
As is their ability to be yellow-bellied rider-droppers all too eager to deliver ubereats (you) to predators.
Thanks for the video rock. Keep stuff like this coming. Have you done a video on pamphlet locations yet?
Yes I’ve done a few so far. More to come.
Amazing content as always RockWorth!😁😁
How did you keep your revolver back in style?
Rockworth, I'd like to ask a question what does Rearing do in game because it put the horse in an agitated state, does it scare predators or invoke fear in humans?
New to red dead redemption 2 only started playing it like last year your videos were a great help
That’s a good question partner. It definitely puts the horse in a state of panic for some reason. I never looked too much into it.
best horse is still the Arabian Rose Grey Bay. Max 10 Stamina Max10 Health 9 Speed 8 Acceleration
Torkuman, Missouri Fox Throtter and Nokota is great as well
you can use the panther or snake saddle which makes your Arabian stamina almost limitless lols
I like the war horse with the long haired feet
Could you do a video on buell which in my opinion is the best all around horse not perfect in anything but great in everything
34:26 does this still work If I don't wear it?
What is an XP?
I've done multiple playthroughs of RDR2 and TIL that we can do the piaffing move. Rockworth really does got us covered. Awesome video as always!
I wonder with regards to bravery, has no one seen the game code like I've seen some people post about other things, like cut content?
Your horse will not buck you if it is already facing away from predators.
all the dapple grays are the coolest, is there a shire gray? there ought to be heh
There’s a light gray shire coat
i’m on the hunt
You can find them pulling wagons and coaches. Just steal ‘em.
I'm playing on pc, how do I refill the stamina while driving, and how do I make my horse do the tipy toe thingy? Oh and the skid turn think, I only know how to skid stop
Press G to calm your horse. This will be applicable for regaining stamina while riding. Enjoy gaming.
i get that horse after that post of yours
keep going bro love form india
How would you rate the mustang?
Faster than a bmw 3 series in a straight line but not as agile 😅
5:01 Which home robbery was the prisoner referring to?
Catfish Jacksons.
@@merensaknow that's a sad story. I never went back a 3rd time to see the kid when he attacks you with the knife. Hoping he finds his mother and he's happy.
Saddle in thumbnail?
11:07 is that true ?
Do individual horses behave differently? Or is the behavior determined by breed, coat color etc. and they are all the same?
I believe if it's male or female matters also (from my understanding Mares are better), plus obviously bonding level. Mostly breed and coat color are the main factors.
Coat colors only matter in terms of stats. I think each horse of a certain breed behaves almost the same.
What was that horse in the thumbnail? Edit: lol nvm
The dapple grey thoroughbred featured in the video
@@RockworthRDR2 yeah, I found out literally seconds after I posted the comment lol thanks anyway, love your videos
😮
'Promosm'
I really don’t like how this is supposed to be a in depth guide yet half of the video is just filler of random events and stuff, extremely slow paced
I’m not your cup of tea. You like yours sweet.
