Welcome to Malaysia Sir but you came to the wrong spot if you are looking for nasi lemak. The area you went to is mostly selling Indonesian food because that market place is dominated by sellers or vendors from Indonesia. Try to google the info of the best nasi lemak recommended by tourists & locals you will find many suggestions. Good luck!
Welcome to my beautiful Malaysia @ KL…❤ Nasi lemak is sold everywhere in KL. But the best nasi lemak you should try is in Kg Baru such as : nasi lemak Wan Jo.. nasi lemak Kak Chok.. nasi lemak motor and nasi lemak Leman You will go crazy after trying these few nasi lemak ☝🏼
oh nooo... i dont think that authentic nasi lemak... the main part of nasi lemak is the rice (coconut milk rice), if it tastes plain, it's not nasi lemak. I recommend you to try nasi lemak at NASI LEMAK WANJO, kampung baru, kuala lumpur. the sambal there is more sweeter. no. 1 drinks in malaysia is Teh Tarik.

Hahaha... it was a bit hilarious when you asked for 1 kilo durian. However, it doesn't work that way when you buy a whole fruit coz' it's normal in Malaysia the seller will charged based on the weight of the fruit. In your case it weighs about 2 kilos so the total cost is RM13 X 2 kilos = RM26.00. So, no "cheeky-cheeky" business 🤣🤣 ... it just how it works here .. other types of fruits you may buy per kilos but slightly different for Durians. Hope you continue enjoying your stay in Malaysia.
Yeaaah absolutely brother but sooo many stalls i see them selling small packages 🤣🤣 They might have cut it up for me and sell the rest 🤷♂️ but I understand hahaha it all went smoothly in the belly ha thanks 😁
@@travelwithjulius the pack durian normally they sell normally from RM10-RM50 per pack depends on type of durian. If you want to buy whole piece of the durian, normally it will be charge according to it weight from a cheaper RM10/kilo to RM50/kilo depends on durian type. You can't asked seller to buy durian for a kilo, never happen before people buy durian asking for 1 kilo 😂😂😂😂. It either you buy a packed, a bundled, or by wieght of every piece.
You were at Chow Kit wet market. Its an Indonesian dominated area and they sell mainly Indonesian food. Nasi Lemak is a Malay traditional breakfast food. You were at the wrong place for authentic Nasi Lemak mate! Where you were that morning is also the reason not many locals speak English. The locals who were more English conversant are Malaysians. Perhaps you need to do a little homework before venturing out to ease yr travel for a more enjoyable holiday.
Thanks for the tips! 😁 Oh man I always enjoy it! This market was amazing actually. If I did some research I might ve missed the president etc haha i like going with the flow ☺️ And I tried the dish at Wanjo big difference indeed 😁 thanks mate!
Plus the fried items vendor (Indonesian) was quite rude. When you asked for nasi lemak she was like "Lantak dia lah bukan nak beli pun" means let him be, not that his buying from us.

once the durian is opened you have to buy it as a whole, doesn't matter how many kg, unless they sell it in a packet and has a fixed price on it
