I'd like to share two of my favourite story-based/concept albums along with you guys. They're both by In Mourning, the two are called "Colossus" and "Monolith." The former has songs mostly focused on the aspects of water, as well as stories pertaining to it, such as the title track; the latter tells the tale of a girl named Julia and her tragic life/ her infested mind. They're both amazing albums and will put you in trance.
Here in 2024 after recently rediscovering the band that sent me on my emo/metal and metalcore journey throughout life. Eternally grateful to this band.
+Shawn Hunter i just saw them live literally an hour ago and i will say that you will not regret seeing them live. one of hte best concerts i've ever been to. i've seem them three times now and i'm never disappointed.
Watched them live in indonesia back in 2011, I remember we were lining up at the entrance and heard they played alesana song from the venue inside, it was so clean we all thought it was a mp3 until they stop mid-song and mumbled something to the audio guy. Even the sound check sounds like the album, they’re different kind of beast.

I saw them on April 7th at the Baltimore Soundstage! It was Awesome! My first real concert. Everything was perfect! I recommend seeing them even if you are not fond of the music because they will have a kickass performance!

Obviamente el grito de cada uno era diferente y se forza mucho la voz. Escucha los conciertos, hasta el cantange principal no grita demasiado para no forzar tanto la voz, ya que al cantar tan agudo tambien cuesta

Check out Protest The Hero's album, Kezia. They do a similar thing, and they do it as well as Alesana. It's really surprising, actually.
I think Famous Last Words has an album that tells a really vivid story, too. They're EXTREMELY similar to Alesana.
