You are simply the greatest dude. This boss is kind of annoying. For most players, his hyper armor on everything, speed, and counters after two hits, will force them to play cautiously until he does a yellow or red attack. I still have a lot to learn, but you're amazing.
Wow this looks promising - great showcase. We need to support these kind of games. I am going to give it a try - but I am playing Ninja Gaiden for the first time, so everything else has to wait for now.
Wow really impressive flow of movement you got there mixing mobility with some of the combo dashes. Played the demo on hard and I feel that some of the systems doesn't feel as rewarding just yet so you're bound to face some difficulties and gotta freestyle like how you did but this is next level. I guess if they just add more stagger on perfect parries and hit clash (The player should have a faster recovery time or at least allow to frame cancel right after it) this should remedy some issues regarding counterattack the enemies. Also needs a grounded guard breaker, Perhaps Dash + kick.
The game looks decent! I have been saying for a long time that a talented action game dev needs to make a hand to hand based Action RPG where the player can switch between multiple combat styles (boxing, Karate, BJJ, wrestling ...etc) and stance switch like in Nioh between the 2-3 they choose. After seeing what Team Ninja did with fist weapons in Nioh 2, my dream game is Nioh 2 systems but with hand to hand combat styles replacing melee weapons.
@@uhis1686 not really, absolver was more pvp focused and closer to a souls like then a fast paced action game. I mean like if Nioh 2 mixed with God hand or something.
Well done. I didn';t try again post update and it;s not fun for me to play on 22 FPS. The boss feels a tad too rigid in his engagement and there aren't really moments outside of ultimate to push him around. I think the dev does need to give the player some added properties to attacks themselves because they just feel like DPS and nothing more.
Hard mode is definitely bad with it's current level of mechanics. Camera and lockon are atrocious. It needs a lot of improvement but the potential is fantastic. It was way too early for them to release a demo.

Just in case you didn't know, the shield throw is a ranged attack and can be dash countered accordingly.

Yea more options would be great in combat. Hopefully there are more since we cant get access to the skill menu in this demo.
