I've always been a fan of the Catalina - especially since I saw Jacques Costeau and team flying down the Nile River and flying over villages whilst leaning out of the open 'saddlebag' windows. I enjoyed your clear diction and calm presentation plus your tendency to bend the rules.
Haha, thanks.... me bend the rules? never :) I do try to treat things a simulation, but I think we can all agree its ok to remember its not real life and rule "Bending" is just fine :)
Have you ever tried using the auto-pilot? The it only has altitude hold and heading hold. The manual shows a window with a number showing the heading to hold, but for some reason, I don't get a number on mine. Turning the nob, turns the plane, but no idea what the heading is. I was surprised that I couldn't find any wing flaps :)
Jim, below, mentions an auto-pilot. I have not been able to locate an auto-pilot panel - perhaps I'm overlooking something. Could you tell me where it's located on the Actual version - thanks.
Reece Buckley click “customize” in the screen where you choose what plane you want and then go to the failures tab and click “fix all” in the bottom left corner.

when ever I take off in this plane there is always an engine fire I have googled it but found nothing, got any advice

Reece Buckley don’t throttle up all the way as the engines will overheat.
does the co-pilot switch the switches or just read the checklists. either way so cool liked and subbed. thank you
If you choose, the co-pilot takes over flipping the switches. Its vool and reduces cockpit workload a lot while you get used to everything.
