You’re an amazing artist. Perhaps one of the best out there in your “niche” however I think that every single painting created, has a place and a “niche”, even if they suck. I think even the ugliest art is still making the world a better place by way of not only decorating it visually, but by also helping the artist whom created it, feel better and therefore being a better person in general. It’s a ripple effect. I wish I could get everyone to hold a paint brush and paint something so that we may learn to love one another and learn to “see” just as you are teaching right here ☺️❤️❤️❤️.
Yes🤣 I was thinking about the vhs tapes I have tucked in the back of the bookcase cabinet. Lots of Gary’s painting instructional videos. Too bad I can’t find a working player anymore. The stories you would tell would make us smile too. You told a story about someone saying “There are no roses that color”. You set him straight all right. My son was young then and wholeheartedly agreed with you! I was delighted to find you again on TH-cam. You are a master painter, no question about that.
Some shops can transfer a tape onto a disc - pro worth doing. I would have gone nuts without these wonderful you tubes, even got the grand children and other granny into acrylics!!!

I "see" a lot more since I began watching your videos, and each one teaches me how to see more. May I ask please that when you do another, you include how to make a glass vase actually look glassy. For some reason my glass always gets foggy towards the bottom. The vase you have here looks so clear all the way down.

Go to his website....brushes are synthetic flats by Dowler rowney, other name is simply simmons. Look at sizes- oils- lool on his other TH-cam channel he tells you his palette of colors- winsor &newton oils are good brand, or Dick Blick oils that's what he used here.
Sheesh! The man is brilliant. He just took sad dying leaves and made a beautiful painting!!!!! I love watching him do this.

Is your paint sticking because of the turns because when I try to put color on top it don't stick to other paint
