i just wanted to say thank you both for doing what you do, and the way you do it! It has definitely been a rough couple of years for me, and painting has been the perfect therapy for all that ails. And when i get frustrated with a certain creative session, i can always depend on my "Art Therapists" (thats you) to guide me through the issue, or just inspire me to dirty up the brushes a bit, relax and even laugh out loud. I'm brand new to oil painting, well painting in general. It's the colors that I try to recreate with doing the backgrounds using your technique.
