1 month in and you were already writing diaries in Korean. It seems like you’re a fast learn! Hehe this makes me want to continue trying to learn Korean. I keep falling off because I get disappointed that I’m not picking it up fast enough. Hopefully, I can stick to it at the enthused 💕.
I think the most intuitive way of learning hangul for me was "Miss Vicky's" video on her TH-cam channel. She used mnemonic methods and is really easy to get into. Also TTMIK is a life saver.
yeah that is what I used as well the 30 minute video except I wrote down EVERYTHING so in all it took me like 1 and a half hours to finish it... now what I use is TTMIK as well as howtostudykorean quizlet and Korean unnie for me Rosetta Stone did not work since there sentences did not say if they were formal or informal and were not something I would probably ever say and write everything down sorry for the rant I honestly have no clue as to why I wrote it but hope it helps since I did

Your perseverance amazes me !! I also started learning Korean at 16 years old, but I eventually stopped. All I remember now is the alphabet and some of the grammar rules ): I still have a lot of the notebooks I used though ! thank you for motivating me to start learning Korean again 🥺

One thing i find really interesting with korean is how expressive it is with "breaths" before words and facial expressions. Whenever you showed an english example followed by a korean, there was a big difference in your facial expression. i wonder why that is. Great video Alex, i will incorporate a lot of your advice into my japanese learning
I learn German in school and it’s almost been 4 years now and I’ve also studied a lot recently as it’s the end of the semester and I’m starting to really feel like it’s easier yaaay🥰 I’m also Swedish so there are many similar words between the languages. Can also relate to what u wrote as I decided to take Spanish in school as well so yeah
haha same I learn English in school and French at home and I am thinking about starting to learn Korean or Japanese (I already know the Korean alphabet yay) and next year in my new school I'm gonna learn Spanish yay, a lot work to do but I really want to learn as many languages as possible Btw I am German soo if you need any help :D

A really good and relaxing ASMR but also a good way to learn some useful stuff. I’m currently learning Hiragana and I decided to stop rushing into it and learn like a child. So each day I take 5 kanas and write then over and over watching a Japanese caligraphy expert. for me is the best way to really fix and learn things.

Thank you so much!! 😊 My skin isn’t always super clear, there’s still texture and I get breakouts sometimes since my skin is pretty acne prone 😅 it was really bad a year ago and i had a lot of acne on my cheeks and forehead but it got better over the past year by really not touching my face, not wearing makeup (outside from filming videos), sleeping a bit more, drinking water (i also try to not eat a lot of junk food but i still do sometimes haha)! I use a mud soap by seacret which i’ve used for a few years now, i recently started using a mugwort essence by i’m from which seems hydrating and I moisturize with a eucerin cream or la roche-posay toleriane ultra fluid (it is one of the only creams that makes my skin feel hydrated after)

im learning korean sometimes but your tips for more effective learning really helped me with learning french which is closer to my heart, so thank you so much!! btw this video is soooo relaxing that im watching it randomly even during a day
I’m so glad to hear that!!😄 thank you! Haha for my skincare I wash my face with water in the morning (because I realized cleansing twice was too harsh on my face and was leaving my skin feeling wayyy too dry) then use the light toning water high moisture from muji (this works really well for my skin) and the la roche posay tolerian fluid cream! Basically products to make my face feel moisturized although it might look a little greasy haha at night I use a micelar water and then the cerave foaming facial cleanser! When I wear makeup I really make sure that I washed it all off my using also another makeup remover 😵💫 I have a prescribed acne cream that I used when my acne got really bad but I think it was because of my bad sleep+crazy levels of stress, maybe hormones 😭 So i never feel 100% safe although I cleanse, don’t touch my face, drink water, I never really know if it will come back again 😀 I also used to avoid sugar (i say this as if I didn’t use to drink boba with the full sugar level) and milk because I heard they might cause acne but now I don’t really 😆 Even when I ate more takeout etc it didn’t make a huge difference but sleep is really important (I say this as i’m typing this at 3am nahhhh) but also anyone’s skin can look good on camera with makeup, powder & decent lighting 😆 I know this bc in some videos my skin was far from perfect but it still looked fine so I realized “ahh so I guess it must be the same for others too”

No problem 😊 Everyone’s skin is different but when I had painful acne the one cream that helped me was Benzaclin which has Benzoyl peroxide! But that’s something I had to get prescribed 😌 thank you 💕

I’ve started learning Korean but have super little time on my hands to do so, so I rely on too many things. You’ve just simplified my life ahah by showing a couple different sites to learn from. I learned the alphabet really quickly and associated the sounds to the letter, however, memorizing anything, however, it was always a huge problem

I learn German in school and it’s almost been 4 years now and I’ve also studied a lot recently as it’s the end of the semester and I’m starting to really feel like it’s easier yaaay🥰 I’m also Swedish so there are many similar words between the languages. Can also relate to what u wrote as I decided to take Spanish in school as well so yeah
haha same I learn English in school and French at home and I am thinking about starting to learn Korean or Japanese (I already know the Korean alphabet yay) and next year in my new school I'm gonna learn Spanish yay, a lot work to do but I really want to learn as many languages as possible

@@gerdkallixtus1915 meine Mutter ist eine deutsch Lehrerinnen gewesen so ich habe die Sprache lernen gewollt und ich reite also und in Deutschland gibt es viele Pferde 🥰 (the grammar is so hard and my teacher keeps saying I need to stick to easier sentences bc I tend to make it too hard because I usually use pretty advanced language in Swedish and English but yeah)

Something that also really helps is Korean Asmr because the pronunciation of Korean words are really slow, heightened and easy to mimic.

A really good and relaxing ASMR but also a good way to learn some useful stuff. I’m currently learning Hiragana and I decided to stop rushing into it and learn like a child. So each day I take 5 kanas and write then over and over watching a Japanese caligraphy expert. for me is the best way to really fix and learn things.

Thank you so much!! 😊 My skin isn’t always super clear, there’s still texture and I get breakouts sometimes since my skin is pretty acne prone 😅 it was really bad a year ago and i had a lot of acne on my cheeks and forehead but it got better over the past year by really not touching my face, not wearing makeup (outside from filming videos), sleeping a bit more, drinking water (i also try to not eat a lot of junk food but i still do sometimes haha)! I use a mud soap by seacret which i’ve used for a few years now, i recently started using a mugwort essence by i’m from which seems hydrating and I moisturize with a eucerin cream or la roche-posay toleriane ultra fluid (it is one of the only creams that makes my skin feel hydrated after)

im learning korean sometimes but your tips for more effective learning really helped me with learning french which is closer to my heart, so thank you so much!! btw this video is soooo relaxing that im watching it randomly even during a day
I’m so glad to hear that!!😄 thank you! Haha for my skincare I wash my face with water in the morning (because I realized cleansing twice was too harsh on my face and was leaving my skin feeling wayyy too dry) then use the light toning water high moisture from muji (this works really well for my skin) and the la roche posay tolerian fluid cream! Basically products to make my face feel moisturized although it might look a little greasy haha at night I use a micelar water and then the cerave foaming facial cleanser! When I wear makeup I really make sure that I washed it all off my using also another makeup remover 😵💫 I have a prescribed acne cream that I used when my acne got really bad but I think it was because of my bad sleep+crazy levels of stress, maybe hormones 😭 So i never feel 100% safe although I cleanse, don’t touch my face, drink water, I never really know if it will come back again 😀 I also used to avoid sugar (i say this as if I didn’t use to drink boba with the full sugar level) and milk because I heard they might cause acne but now I don’t really 😆 Even when I ate more takeout etc it didn’t make a huge difference but sleep is really important (I say this as i’m typing this at 3am nahhhh) but also anyone’s skin can look good on camera with makeup, powder & decent lighting 😆 I know this bc in some videos my skin was far from perfect but it still looked fine so I realized “ahh so I guess it must be the same for others too”

No problem 😊 Everyone’s skin is different but when I had painful acne the one cream that helped me was Benzaclin which has Benzoyl peroxide! But that’s something I had to get prescribed 😌 thank you 💕

I’ve started learning Korean but have super little time on my hands to do so, so I rely on too many things. You’ve just simplified my life ahah by showing a couple different sites to learn from. I learned the alphabet really quickly and associated the sounds to the letter, however, memorizing anything, however, it was always a huge problem
