@@JSeriously why add a bunch of different chairs to put in the room if you can't even use them? seems like a waste code to me. also there's alot of games where chairs are used for a reason like for example gta5 chairs will keep you from being kicked out while afk money farming, another example would be a game where you sit in a chair and play games "red dead redemption" I think also the Witcher games. ark is another game where you have to sit In a chair to fish. I could keep going on and on but mainly chairs are just cool and can be used in games for estetic reason to intentional and unintentionall exploits.

@@sefranlangan3985 I'm pretty sure Hogwarts Legacy is much bigger than the previous games. There's already people complaining they can't play because it's too heavy.
But to be honest, I think they decided to play it safe at first. They released open-world Hogwarts with a cool adventure. If it's successful, then they'll go on to releasing a Quidditch DLC, underwater missions under the Black Lake, visits to the Ministry of Magic or even other schools. I think this game is just the base for other games in the same universe.

My only complaint is that I can’t pause during cutscenes.
If you are on xbox you can open up the guide overlay to pause whenever. Might work with overlays on other platforms too.
Same with ps5. Just press and hold PS button and it will suspend the whole game.

Playing the deluxe version and it's amazing. There's a few bugs here an there. 10 hour in now and only got two bugs

Frame drop during a fight sequence in the forest.
Everything else is smooth and amazing.

For a game with flying mechanics it’s nice there isn’t invisible walls everywhere so you can actually fly on top of the castle

There are still a lot of invisible walls in the game, the biggest offender being Hogsmeade, which is somewhat central in the map, and you have to either floo flame past it or go all the way around. Kind of a pain that you can't just fly over Hogsmeade too

Not everyone can swim they are just reflecting reality. Swimming in games is something I never really done now thinking about it... Cept maybe back in Skyrim.
Yeah but not every game needs swimming, I can think of many games that don’t have swimming where it would be actually pointless to add it yet people complain it’s not there. If swimming is needed a game will have it, its not hard to program at all, it just takes time that could be spent elsewhere. I mean most n64 games had swimming but ONLY when it was needed.
Incredible how a game about wizards flying brooms, lets you fly brooms to the visible areas of the castle. Truly inspiring stuff.
I thought the same thing when he was talking about the upper limits when he hadn't event reached the roof of the school yet lol.. and on a game with a flying mount. I think being able to fly to the roof of the school on a game with flying mounts is the minimum lol
@@gentlyvillainous if there’s water, let us swim. Doesn’t matter if there’s no reason to go in the water at all, if the devs are going to put water into game then they should program swimming as well, unless theres some dumb lore reason that explains why we can’t swim.

Hopefully there’s gillyweed, goblet of fire will always be my favorite movie because of that scene where they consume the gillyweed and adapt to the water with said animal traits . Would love to see this in the game !

But sitting on a broom will always look stupid af. I hope the flying mounts are not restricted. I plan to never use a broom to fly unless I really really have to (small corridor where my mount wouldn't fit for example)

They should add an honor system, you shouldn’t be allowed to use forbidden curses without the atmosphere of the game changing

I think they left quidditch out purposely so they could make a dlc with it. Im just specifying based on what i see. The game is great, you can do alot of stuff, and they have the quidditch field in the game. If i was a harry potter fan and a developer on this game and we just designed the quidditch field i would be asking the other developers why did we put the quidditch field in the game if there isnt going to be quidditch matches? And those assholes would probably say "oh we're gonna release as a dlc and charge money" that's just my opinion lol

I had no idea they made a newer Harry Potter franchise without Harry in it but still it looks dope to play.
This game is actually in the mid or late 1800s. Harry's story takes place in the late 90s.

@@Josh-vh9fw a game is more than about gameplay now a days. If gameplay is Soo important I would recommend going back to first generation of games which had more gameplay. Now it's about graphics, immersion and the overall feel of being a part of the story. Maybe you are indeed playing the game at easy mode, common mistakes non competitive players make. Play it on hard difficulty and then you will enjoy. I go by the name goat but sheep's equally alright.

i hope they fix the bug that makes a random collection chest empty at bandit camps. i've completed all the bandit camps but i've only got 74/75 traits and it sucks because i'm playing om console so i can't fix it with mods and i'm one trophy away from 100%-ing the game..

I think the swimming is cool but it should be a creature or beast that can take you across the water. One thing I was always curious about is the sea creatures or beast that might live in the waters. Just randomly swinging in the water makes it seem like there’s nothing underneath which is weird because theirs creatures, beast, demons and animals everywhere else

Only the initial "dive" to get into water as well as swimming above water falling off broomstick into water and jumping up and getting onto broomstick from all the gameplay I have watched. unfortunately I was not there in London so I couldnt tell you if they even planned on adding it

But one of the people who went and played the 2hr demo version said that you can dive.
It's not a boost meter. It's the meter that allows you to fly up high. The higher you go the faster the meter goes down. You will have to upgrade the broom in order to fly high for long periods of time.

So it's 100% confirmed that we can jump at anytime & anywhere we want, via a dedicated jumping button, yes? I heard that there was speculation about whether we would have a jump button to jump anywhere in or outdoors, or if the only way to jump would be if given the prompt on-screen to jump over a gap or obstruction, like in GoW or some RE games. (I think)
The broom is the only flying mount with a boost mechanic as far as I have seen, there is a land beast that has a boost mechanic though

Would be nice to have a game come out and receive regular good updates. Maybe add quidditch or something, then maybe online duels.
You know the broom does have the boost mechanic, if I'm going farther distances and I want to get there faster I prefer to use Highwing. He's faster, but unfortunately lacks the control that the broomstick has. So for shorter flights I go broomstick while I use Highwing for long distance travel

Boost mechanic is also on the beast and although it looks faster on the basic broom (i said basic) the beast boost is faster on beasts just looks slower, You can read speed when you are watching a tracked mission and the number of steps left moves faster.
The broom is cool and all, but I've been having a blast riding that elephant thing through the forbidden forest 😅

I would like the option to land my mount more place, like on cliffs with a flat land that I’m apparently not supposed to go to. It’d be nice to be able to vault over simple things like rails and most things in hogsmeade. It’s a really good game it’s just missing some basic mechanics
The broom isn’t the only one with a boost mechanic, the graphorn also has a rush/boost

After flying around on the broom I would have loved some broom battles
The effort they put into this game and it popular reception should have them going crazy with improvements and features. Modders made it multi player within a week of release. This game could be a full MMO with an expanded map, questlines, and dungeons.
This makes it feel like Harry Potter Chamber of Secrets & Prisoner of Azkanan tho chamber of secrets you fly on a broom and can go fly around the school and go high up and fly sort of around the lake i also love how they brought back the looking for chest system as it was done in Chamber of Secrets & Prisoner of Azkaban tho in Azkaban you can fly on Budbeak witch was cool n i love how you can get a Hypogryff mount an adding a thistral is just nice

I really like the flying mounts, but i hardly use them because the broom offers so much more flexebility ... Quite a shame really as the Hippogriff looks awesome

Wish they would make something that allows you to get unstuck when you can't move and stuck behind an invisible fence. Like when you get stuck behind a chair or between pixels. It's happened several times to me and had to restart from save.
