Yes, great video and completely true, although I would say that I am usually nicer about it when people ask beforehand, I just say that if you continue producing good content then maybe in a few months time but usually by that time they have stopped making content, if people don't have the continued perseverance then it is pointless to sponsor them.

I really like how speedcube stores sponsors relatively small channels. Its really helping out the community. I am not aware of any other community ehere a channel with only a 1000 subscribers can get a sponsor. Even getting discounted cubes already makes it easier for the channel to make more content.
