Neal Schon should've stole Joey Belladonna from Anthrax after Jeff Scott Soto was fired from Journey. Joey Belladonna can really sing. Journey would have been still considered a somewhat more musical band than just a tribute band on to themselves. Joey Belladonna really gave a good performance here. Nicely done.....
This is great. Great band. Journey is not easy to do a homage to. From Steve Perry's voice to Steve Smith's drumming to Neil's guitar. Not easy at all.
As much as he mostly hits the notes there are many obvious flat notes and strength issues. Also Steve's voice has a richness about it that has always been the secret.
Joey is native on his mother's side and Italian on his father's. Half native. Steve has some Portuguese heritage but is American. Totally wrong about Arnel though, all Filipino
Belladonna is 62 and he kicks Arnel's tail at Journey tribute. Neil "allegedly" made a poor choice while boozing at the computer after touring with JSS. Zoo wasn't very good but Neil had his sights on conquering other lands.

I've listen to Joey since Spreading the Disease. He's one of my fav singers of all time. But he belongs in Anthrax. And no, Joey doesn't kick Arnell's tail. Matter of fact, Arnell is an incredible singer in his own right. Arnell has amazing control especially in the Journey ballads. Both are great singers. There is a reason why Journey is playing stadiums and still selling records. Arnell has kept the Journey spirit alive.

When Arnel sings Steve Perry songs, we all hear Steve Perry's genius and greatness in our minds, one measure ahead of where the tune is, and when Arnel catches up to what we anticipate, he isn't even close to Perry. Journey is a tribute band and Joey is a hundred years old.

SP can't even sing in his own 80s range anymore. Anrnell has kept Journey and SP's work alive. Arnell is has been the voice of Journey longer than Steve (15 years). As far as Journey, Joey loves what he loves to do and that's cover the songs. More power to him. But when it comes to Journey songs, Arnell takes Joey to town.

Neal schon knows what he is doing he is very selfish when it comes to his band journey.. arnel’s voice is diminished now but at his prime from the beginning of the tour 2008 Chile it was at par to anybody who sings journey now.. even just lately arnel’s open arms, when you love a woman, still they ride, to name a few still next to Perry’s soulful voice.. But no worries he paid his dues he will leave the band most probably this year fulfilled..
