I loved this look. For me the problem is contouring, so I end up just using blusher as I find using a bronzer difficult. I am in my seventies and also have marks where my glasses sit. Also, on my nose I do have a few open pores. I tend to use powder ( Laura Mercier ) and although it sits well on my cheeks, it looks porey on my nose. Your videos are so good xx.
I love this look, but I have the hardest time trying to achieve it. My skin isn’t so bad, but my eyelids are darker, and I have marks on the sides of my nose from glasses. I correct these problems with Danessa Myricks’ color fix. Then, I try to create a subtle eyeshadow look, but it always turns into something more substantial because I always put a darker color in the outer v of my eye. I just don’t think one and done looks look good on me. I use skin tint after applying my eyeshadow. Lisa Eldridge makes my favorite one. Personally, I have never liked full coverage foundation. Nevertheless, this leads to a little too much “brontour” and blush. I guess I think my medium deep complexion needs more to get rid of the flat, one dimensional look. That and the fact that my cheeks seem to make blush disappear. So, I set my cream makeup with a corresponding powder version. This year, I am going to practice getting better at creating this look.
