@@EnglishWithAshish I think answer D is wrong b/c in the sentence
      SHE HAS BEEN MOTIVATING ME.
motivating is working as present participle adj. coming next to the Linking verb 'has been' and modifying 'she'. Been is here as main verb(present perfect active structure)
but I am also a bit confused "motivating" would be a participle or gerund? because both can come next to the LV and we can also equate like she= motivating (sub complement)
kindly guide me.. It's confusing to identify a verb with ing would be a GERUND or present participle adj coming next to the Linking verb

First of all, these are questions, and the question mark is missing in both the sentences.
To refer to the object, WHOM is used.
      Examples:-
      • Whom are you talking about?
      • I loved the girl whom we met last night?
BUT in modern English, WHO can be, and is, used in place of WHOM.

      • I loved the girl who we met last night.

All can be used a singular subject band a plural subject. It depends on what it's referring to.

    • @EnglishWithAshish
      @EnglishWithAshish  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Yes, what comes after the noun or pronoun in these cases is the object complement.
      Hi, Suman!
An object complement is either a noun or an adjective.
Here, Infinitives work as a noun, and past participles work as adjectives.
      • Sam made him do it. (Do = bare Infinitive, noun)
      • She got me arrested. (Arrested = past participle, adjective)
      • Sam made me tired. (Tired = past participle, adjective)
