Technical Points of Table Tennis Receiving and Serving
1. Receiving the serve is based on stability, while being stable and aggressive
2. The moment the opponent's racket touches the ball, this is the first information for the judgment of receiving and serving the ball. The second information is when the arc is high or low during the running process, and the third information is when the arc changes after the ball falls.
3. The first task of receiving and serving is to judge, try to grasp the first information in actual combat, it is impossible to delay.
Note for table tennis receiving and serving:
1. The best way to receive the serve: take the initiative, get started first
2. Receiving the serve in the strategy: control hands, use a short swing to restrict the opponent's serve to attack, and prevent the opponent from taking the lead.
3. Receiving and receiving the ball: take the initiative to split long, after the opponent pulls lightly, we come to connect the second board recoil, take the initiative to defend.
4. When catching a short ball, the hand cannot be low, otherwise the ball will easily rise high. The center of gravity should be inserted into the table.
5. When receiving a serve, you must flexibly adjust your footwork according to the incoming ball. The opponent's short serve can pass and step on the stage to receive it. When the opponent serves the ball, you can retreat with small steps and find the best position to sell it calmly.
When receiving a short forehand ball, the center of gravity of the upper body must be stable and the center of gravity of the lower body must be lifted up and the heels up, so that the ball can be pulled to the high point and there is room to control the ball when rubbing the ball.

乒乓球上一般都會印上商標或文字，據張怡寧自己說，她能通過這些文字或商標，來看清球的旋轉。就像是高速攝像機慢速回放一樣，球轉或不轉，怎麼轉的，轉的速度如何，都能看得一清二楚。建議國際乒聯作出規定：乒乓球生產廠家不得印商標和文字在球上，以防像張怡寧那樣的“鷹眼”選手。
