- In the 3rd of a series of five masterclass videos made during the NonSole Brass Masterclasses in Smarano, Italy, Steve discusses the relationship between you and your mouthpiece !! It covers lip shape, aperture, pitched air, mouthpiece whistling, some daily routines and the relationship between air/singing/whistling and buzzing; some fresh ideas maybe. Enjoy. This video was made inside the church in Smarano, 12 July, 2013

Hi Steven, I have a question. I've always had a problem with buzzing high notes, so I checked in a mirror to see if I could find anything wrong, and I noticed that my upper lip is "curling" more and more over the under lip the higher I get... Any useful solutions? Thanks for a great series, btw, I thoroughly enjoyed it!
