I find it absolutely wild that ratings can only go up, and never down. This combined with the gradual individual rider skill inflation really hurts long-term saves.
I'm doing a Team Flanders - Baloise save for my first ever PCM Career mode. That was it's still easier since I'll get good Belgium prospects, but I like the idea of having a national team find success
I did India only build in PCM 22, had 2 riders in second year, and started developing from there. 5 seasons in I am still in continental and my top rider is 4.5 star, but I did find one 5 starred. So yeah, it is a long grind, still haping for Pro continental lol
I'm doing a Baltics run right now. It's also very hard, I can only imagine how painful the Balkans would be to play. At least the Baltics have a handful of 4- and 4.5 Star riders available that I've been able to hire. This challenge leads to unique problems though - I'm swimming in cash, I have a literal million bucks banked while still in Continental, and there are no riders for me to spend it on! Also, I've had a hell of a hard time finding climbers. Apparently the Baltics just don't have them, except for Neilands, and he's getting on in years...
How can you set up the riders training program? Do you have to go into objectives? It says we should be able to set up training on the race planner but I can't figure out how.
Doing a Greece only run, having your top Rider placed 96th (first run) or 80th (second run) at the end of the season, doesn't trigger an upgrade for training facilities (or whatever it is called). Is this also a strange dice roll, a bug or something to do with the world DB selected?
I have confirmed now that it is a dice roll as well. There are minimum marks that have to be hit but at the end of the day it is also a dice roll on progression.
Hi woud doing a norway run be okey? Or hard? Do you have tips how to win sprint stages? And when you start a team how to decide sponsor goal, and witch rider to witch races
Norway starts out as a 6 pop, 3 training nation. Plenty of riders with decent quality. A single nation is always tougher but that's one that has potential to grow. Only one pop point left but plenty of room to increase the training rating. That's a pretty doable challenge. If you don't have a top sprinter make sure your leadout gets you out front, you need every advantage you can get. If you do have a top sprinter follow whoever's at the front so you get a front row seat to the start of the sprint. Sponsor goals, look at your team strengths (you have good punchers, etc.) and pick races that you think you could do well at. Look at race profiles and choose riders that match the profile for all of your key races, don't take 2 mountain guys to a big mountain race, take your best 5 or even an entire squad, stack the deck.
@@DecathlonGamer how do you do a leadout good? Often when i tried that on this versjon i just get blocked inn I been playing 2020 versjon of the game until now
@@joakimkulander It's very easy to get blocked in, the trick is to get ahead of everyone. Watch one of my latest Yeti series videos for an example (we're a sprint team currently) but the trick is to form a long train with your sprinters at the back and everyone else leading out. I start at about 13k before the finish and ride effort up at 95-99 to literally get to first wheel. Peel riders off one by one and definitely ride 99 effort by the final 6-7k if not sooner. If they're still out front by time you get into that final 2-3k than you have a shot at holding off the other sprinters.
@@DecathlonGamer thats had been my problem knowing when to ride up effort. Like many times i been in the lead with my train riding at 95 to maybe 5 km before then other teams comes and block me inn. So i will watch that
WorldDB makes initial team building much much more possible for small nations. I find the inability to increase popularity in a nation above 7 really strange and kinda demotivating, seems like mediocre game design
It’s interesting to me that they don’t group Slovenia with the Balkans in this game because I think geographically, historically, and culturally that would make a bit more sense. That would give you stronger riders to work with. Probably a better challenge not to have Pogacar and others available though
It's deliberate due to how much Slovenia is an anomaly in the sport compared to the rest of the region. So to prevent having a potentially cheap way to farm high talent Slovenes, or make the rest of the Balkans unfairly expensive to scout, they split the two.
Beginners that need a tutorial 😉 I'm using the WDB for my series, but lots of people do not have a clue how to go to the workshop let alone find a DB elsewhere and install it manually.

This made me start a Baltic only save, seems very difficult but possible to get to at least high end Conti Pro

Squad view has a tab for trainers where you can set the whole team, or you can open the riders profile and go to training to do it individually.
