Skiing Taos Ski Valley New Mexico

- Headed down south to northern New Mexico for a trip to Taos Ski Valley. Many would not expect New Mexico to have skiing of this kind of caliber, but in Taos New Mexico, the terrain is steep, the powder can be deep and dry, and the vibe is not to be missed!

Dayum! Without a doubt, this is the best “REAL” Taos edit I have ever seen. I was fortunate enough to live an hour and 15 minutes away from Taos for six years. I haven’t been there since 2012. This edit just caused me to make up my mind where I’m going next. Thank you, man, not sure about that intro music though😆
In all fairness about the music, though, I’m pretty sure that the genre is, in fact, Norteño, which is pretty common up in that area. Props to you for knowing that.
Great expert mountain with some nice intermediate runs too. Longhorn is one of the longest and gnarliest bump runs I've ever skied. It just never ends.
I just watched something on Taos.. It seams like it has it's own vibe.. They said something about Taos Village closes early and Taos Town closes at midnight.. Sounds pretty Chill..
Even the skiers and boarders seam chill...

You should hit up santa fe ski area if you are still in town!
I had to head home but I need to spend a whole week down there soon!
