- Frank and his son Lucas have been living out of their car for a few weeks. After being denied employment yet again, Frank fears for the health of his family. While rummaging through garbage cans in search of food, Frank is confronted by the homeowner. When she hears about the predicament Frank and his young son are in, she decides to help them.

I feel sorry--pretty sorry for that man and his son. Thank goodness for someone like Carmen. I've seen too many people, especially kids who are homeless and hungry anytime I drive in town and I feel sorry for them. I would give whatever I have that I don't need or want to that person who is in more need than I am. I can also give money to those who are less fortunate and within reasons without letting that person take advantage of my kindness. People like Carmen is whom we need in this world.

This happens more frequently than you realize. I know if I didn't have my grown sons helping me since my husband passed, I might have had to do the same thing. I'm so grateful for my family's help. Not all people have a family to support them in their time of need.

That was a great video I ! I love happy endings like this I used to be homeless myself but I had no car I found a corner to sleep and with a blanket and my purse was my pillow. This was just one year ago luckily a lady that I have met at a restaurant her and her daughter came looking for me and asked if I would like to rent the room that she had in the hous. As of February I've been here for one year but soon I'm going to have to look for another place to stay because he is selling her house. Chances like this only comes once in a lifetime I just hope I don't end up back on the street thank you for your great videos.

I started tearing up when she offered him a drink... I feel so bad cause I know that this happens to people on real life. If I were rich, I'd look out for a lot of those who are less fortunate. I don't have everything but I do have more than some... anytime I see someone in need, I give... even if it's my last because I know that I am blessed to have a pay day that will come back around. I feel like every time I give, I will receive a blessing. I don't look for blessing in the firm of money, just because I gave money. I look at blessing as my family is safe, we're healthy, and we're alive, cause you never know when it's your last day.

I lost my mom and my wife do the cancer and I don't know how you lost your mom but God watches over people like you and me because without him we cannot live alone we got him and he's watching this so we aren't alone and just think everyday that God is with you no matter what and if you sit down and pray you'll get things done and your dad will get things done you always think about God because he's the one that does everything for us and I hope you'll have what y'all need one day

I can’t imagine being homeless. Never in my life I ever lived on the street. My grandparents owned a tobacco co. Grew up in 3rd world country. We helped many people. Hired them, gave them food. Hired 35 servants, so they can live in a nice place. No dirt floor. They were amazing. All their family stayed with us.

Maybe he wants to make it on his own! This woman was very generous to offer him her guest house to stay in, and give him a job.
Generosity goes a long way! True he could have picked up cans, and plastic bottles to get money, and in some cities they have plasma centers, he could make money that way. This lady offered him a job, and a place for him and his son to stay. He slept with his son in his car because he didn't want to stay at a homeless shelter because they will steal from him and his son there.
