Hello John MacArthur, I very much admire your works. Your sermons have got me through some very hard times. I am also a fellow man of Christ and would very much like to speak with you but I understand that you are cautious.
What about Luke 10:19 … it’s days we do have authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over ALL the power of the enemy !! Indeed we don’t war in the flesh … we use the Word of God as our sword in the spirit.
Jesus said get behind me Satan. Jesus said I give you all power. Jesus said who so ever eats my flesh and drink my blood hath eternal life. You deny Jesus has come in the flesh. God wrote the book. The flesh is the word.

I am not so much concerned about pastors getting lost, losing their way when preaching, but John, please: Listen to your first 6 minutes at pains to stipulate we cannot battle using human characteristics, weapons, tools against evil. Then you follow that immediately with human characteristics, inventions, to do battle with evil. A battle of the mind. I mention this because you may be blinded by your own enthusiasm and be unaware of your contradictory statements. You are in direct contradiction to the teaching of Christ when you say "that is not within the purview of our abilities". This is the "bad wine" that Christ does not want Christians and non Christians to partake of. Please take the time to consider where your message is coming from.
