love it . i’m up here in the great north wet ( west) and so wish i could be down south in the little town in the warm sunshine 😎They always paint such a good picture of the surroundings👍🏼
Johnny $ is the best. Bob Bailey a great radio actor. Wonderful his talent & skill lives on and honors the great history of the fabulous medium that is American radio.
Love these programs! Before I found them on TH-cam if the program wasn’t over when I got home from work, I’d sit in the car and listen on XM radio. The writing and story lines are excellent!!
Accuracy & authenticity in EVERY dialogue, in EVERY script is such a worthwhile credit to all writers of every YTJD Episode. Writers of this caliber don’t exist in the US, today, in current time.
Arles Berrios Different times, I’m afraid. I listened to such shows in 1952-1960+. Tons of such shows. Today, they’re called podcasts. Listeners’ desires have evolved in the intervening 60 years....
@@joemorrison9342 Thank You!! I really want to know if the wife did it....or the husband isn't really dead, and he and his wife just wanted the insurance money. 🙂
Hours of enjoyment 😊 thankyiu

Me too. Wonderful voices. So much drama. My mother would listen to these shows while she washed dishes. Back in the 50's.

I only just discovered the show a few weeks ago. I wish there were some show like this on regular radio this days
Sometimes the oldies are hiding on AM radio, or at either end of the dial, so to speak, on FM.

SiriusXM's radio has an old time classic radio program channel. Its wonderful!
You've never heard of "The Adventures of Harry Nile"? Look up "Imagination theater" on TH-cam
Harry Nile is a modern day Detective Produced by Jim French Productions...they've been producing radio shows since the 80's
The man with the action packed expense account! What a man! What an expense account!
ALERT!!!! Show repeats the intro without an ending @ 1:27:28. Bummer.
Fun!
90 cent taxi
Love these old radio programs, and at the top of the list is Bob Bailey as Johnny Dollar! Why does it keep starting over after the end of the story?
For copyright reasons, probably
They were originally in 30 min episodes on radio years ago. Try turning app for so many more of these wonderful programs
It doesn't finish the story. It cuts out in the middle of the final episode and starts over. It'd be nice to know the ending. Frustrating.
If ya check out the johnny dollar episodes on tune in you might get the complete episode.

Does anyone know the name of the actor playing Dollars side kick? Sounds like the mayor of Mayberry. With a Spanish accent.
Parlay Baer! Yep that’s him
That is the guy who voices the part of Chester Proudfoot on Gunsmoke. Parley Baer (think correct spelling).
Good plot but cant stay with the programs fake spanish accents.
