Hey man, this is late (lol) but congrats! I'm also in London and doing a few courses here and there with RDS. I hope its gone well, one of my near future goals is the Intensive but for now I'll just be sticking to the short courses haha.
Congratulations！I'm going to London in September to do a postgraduate degree in sculpture, but I also love painting. Thank you for all that you have been sharing. You're a role model for me and I hope I could get the chance to study at the Royal Drawing School in the future like you did!
I found out about the drawing year recently and I'm trying to research as much as possible so I can hopefully get in next year🤞🏻. This video has been so helpful, thank u!!
Thank you! Yes I did, I did some filming too - I'll be honest I was a bit underwhelmed but there were a couple of painters I really liked. What was your take?
@@tomasarteducation I actually quite liked it this year although my bar was set pretty low from the last time I went which was a disappointing one. I’ve never seen any of the shows at the rds but I’m going to check out the next one. I’d love to do an MA in London it’s my dream to live and make art there.. I live in Bristol at the moment. Will you be working part time while you study?
@@tonyhinesartist My favourite was Ding Shiluns work 🔥 Yeah the RDS shows have quire a unique vibe to them, maybe I'll see you at the end of year show next year! 😆 Yeah London is a fantastic place for the arts, it's just stupidly expensive - I do plan on navigating part time work alongside the course but I'll also have some support from family.
