Columnstore Indexes in 2017-2019 - Niko Neugebauer

Columnstore Indexes were launched in SQL Server 2012 and greatly enhanced in 2014 & 2016 - and if you thought that Microsoft was done with them - you are missing a lot of important improvements that were added in SQL Server 2017 and 2019 (and some of which are available in Azure SQL Database). It looks like the main focus right now of the dev team right now is on fixing the missing and if you are running high performance scale Data Warehouses or BI solutions - you better be aware what the newest versions are bringing on the table.
