Excellent tutorial! Clear, terse and to the point. Thank you! I was experimenting with a few different approaches. But, this method is excellent and what I will adopt moving forward. I especially like the last step where you convert from a triangulated to quad-based mesh. As an aside, there are many SketchUp tutorials out there showing the basics to new users which is great. But, not nearly as many showing techniques for more advanced users that need solutions for less obvious workflows. More tutorials like this would be very welcome :-)
Outstanding ! Just what I need to model my yard grade and street! A little time with a laser level and DIY grade rod, or a water level and it's done.....Thank you !!
Hey mate, I just got caught up on the "moving contour lines only".. I can only seem to select the contour lines and green section all together... Do you have any ideas on what I am doing wrong?
Why, when I install Fredo Tools does it not show me a toolbar / Icon for the main Fredo6 menu? I have installed Fredo as I need to use Joint Push Pull and Round Edge (which won't work without it), but I have reinstalled twice and cannot find the FredoTools main menu in order to select the Draw Along tool. Help!
What should I do if the Toposhaper plug in is not showing up, and now, Draw Along seems nowhere to be found? and I cannot even install any libfredo plugin at my sketchup 2018

Nice! What would this plugin say when you load 1.4M points from a large survey?
I have no idea. Please let me know if you try it!
Hi! How could this work if I didnt create any guide lines or guide points but created actual lines instead?
you gotta make sure the button GUIDE is toggle on. the plug in sometimes switches on itself to LINES. so check it each time.
Hi, how did you import the layout image into SketchUp please?
