I don't blame them for taking back the car if you weren't going to pay for it. You shouldn't be taking out loans or buying cars you can't afford to pay for.
Take public transit for awhile until you can afford to repair the car. Or try to find a cheaper repair solution.
Perhaps order the parts yourself and find an autoshop like Canadian Tire who will install them for you. Sometimes they are much cheaper.

Brakes and tires cost almost $5K on a Hyundai? For one thing, this guy got fleeced. I know everything's going up in price but there's no way the bill should have been anywhere near that. For two, he was dumb enough to agree to pay the almost $5K for essentially "maintenance" items (probably at a ridiculous interest rate to boot). Wippy sounds like a loan shark in disguise; just another company preying on people's desperation. Then, he was surprised when his car got repossessed for defaulting on the loan payments. What did he expect? I'm sorry, but I don't feel sorry for this guy. You live within your means and learn to build an emergency fund so when things like this happen you don't HAVE TO borrow the money.
