correction: Rob McElhenney would ask his assistant to buy a gallon of ice cream in the morning and leave it on the counter all day so in the afternoon when all of it melts and becomes fully liquid he would just drink it because according to him "you can drink that many calories a day, you can't eat that many calories a day, at least i can't''
was going to share this fact too. if you see earlier trailers for season 6 there are some scene for this episode and a meat bomb going off so they did film franks idea
@@shortdrink873 There's always a stop sign. If it's a two-way stop, you gotta keep eyes open for the oncoming traffic from the sides that aren't stopped by signs. Proceed with caution pretty much.
@@AbeVicious That was my point, I understand a two way stop, don’t think I’ve ever encountered a 4 way which seems like it’d just a be a test of who is the most/least cautious and could easily result in multiple people going at once.
My favorite thing about the show is how most of them just do things because they're bored. Frank just starts whacking charlie with a stick cause he's bored and its hilarious. Most other shows feel the need to create dramatic conflicts for humor
I remember an interview, I think with Charlie Day, where he said Rob suggested it would be funny if they all got fat for a season of the show. They all said absolutely not and Rob decided to do it anyway.
Rob McElhenney originally asked the whole cast to get fat with him. But no one wanted to do that to themselves so he did it himself. In an interview, Rob also stated that after Fat Mac, he found a new purpose in what's funny about the character again.
The fact that they even know about Malcolm Gladwell's Tipping Point is such a subtle bit of context to the underlying lore of the gang 😂 Like they're generally well educated but also make horrifying decisions on purpose I guess 😭
12:26 No.. he drank a gallon of ice cream everyday, he sat it out in the counter every morning to melt and then later in the day he drank it. He talks about it on Conan
Mac’s relationship with religion is very interesting. I’d love to get backstory on how he got this weird perception of it. I’m not caught up, so if that does happen, I haven’t gotten to it
He takes the cognitive dissonance of religious people to the extremes to make it funny but it’s pretty clear how he gets there. He’s not that that far off most of the time. This is coming from a former catholic school teacher
Most white people can process dairy without any issue. Dairy doesn’t do shit to my stomach at all. If you’re ancestors come of southern Europe, you’re more likely to be lactose intolerant, but if you’re from the British isles, Scandinavia, or Germanic in origin, you’re probably ok. It’s a mutation that some theorize has to do with the need for vitamin D without sunlight during the winter months, but who knows?

The monster anime
Frank accidentally making the road safer is one of my favorite dumb jokes in the series.
His interpretation of stop signs in later seasons is probably why it never occured to him what effect 4 stop signs have.
@@MC-Clap-Yo-Handswhat happened in later seasons with stop signs i forget
@@iGaveLiaHIV Basically he thinks Stop signs are a game of chicken and his glasses have no lenses so he is basically driving blind.

So the flashback scenes were from a season 6 episode that they ended up scrapping but saved the footage for. They reused it for this season
was going to share this fact too. if you see earlier trailers for season 6 there are some scene for this episode and a meat bomb going off so they did film franks idea
Ohhhh that’s so cool!
That makes sense. I always thought that the plot of this episode was a bit all over the place (as funny as it is)
Still waiting for new episode
Dee wanting to hire people to run the bar for them is probably the best idea they’ve ever had
Hey Normies, can you post the next episode? I know you won’t say no. You’d never say no. Because of the implication.
The best episodes are when Charlie plays the straight man
Those are actually the ones where I find Charlie tolerable. Definitely this one and Charlie Work.
@@Derek_Bell so basically youre a loser with no sense of humor, got it👍
The bar is usually a metaphor for the show itself.
Where’s the newest episode?
The 4-way stop gag always makes me laugh
Shit is HILARIOUS 😂
This sht is HILARIOUS 😂
I actually don’t understand how it works without lights or road markings - who has right of way to go first?

@@OneArmedRetroGamerYeah Wtf?
OK this is ridiculous
The scenes of Mac being thin was from a scrapped season 6 episode called The Gang Gets Successful.
If you think about it, Charlie is always the one busting his ass. That bar would not exist if he wasn't there.

Every sane person has a “crevice”
Frank makes a 4 way stop, then when he realizes it is a rational idea he goes right back to the stick plan😂😂
I was always convinced the 4 way stop was what made them giant business. Now cars are stopping and noticing that there's a bar
@@johnnycisneros8722 But he made that after they started getting more business...
"in the crevice" is one my fave lil references from sunny for some reason
You comment this same thing on every episode reaction about a line...🤡
I wish you will watch arrested development
A lot of them have referenced it in the past, so they've likely already seen it.
Christian Bale in The Machinist is wild
oh man, i haven't seen that movie (or thought about it) in so long. That movie was jarring. So good though.
Do I look foolish??

That nightman t shirt is 🔥 I have to get one
Dam they talked over my favorite joke from this episode, when Mac acknowledges and knows exactly what the crevice means for Charlie.
They also missed when Dennis says Superman was ‘the original’. Small bit, but I like it.
Greetings from the crevice

Y'all gotta watch the bloopers!! especially for this episode 😂
so just no new episode
13 days and no explanation or did i not get the memo. The least you can do is put a message up saying something
You accidentally left out Charlie's dance, and I guess the Acetone huffing was too triggering 🤣🤣
Mac is so funny because he's a zealot for a religion he doesn't understand.
I say “I’m going in the crevice!” all the time 😂😂😂
No he let it melt so he could just drink it
