- I recently added Spotify to my Discord, and it didn't work. After trying some fixes that I show in this video it started working as expected. If you're having the same issues, then this should help you fix it.

im genuinely getting so mad that it’s not working. it was working fine and then suddenly it just went away. it shows up when i use spotify on my phone but i want it to show up on my pc. i don’t ever use spotify on my phone bc it’s sm better on pc and i like knowing my friends can see what i’m listening to :(
hope it’s just a dumb discord bug that they will fix soon or something

I've linked and unlinked my spotify account, restarted both discord and spotify and it didn't work and then restarted my pc. Still just says, Playing a game:

The one where you remove Spotufy from Game Activity and add it again and restart Discordo.
_And yes I just called them Spotufy and Discordo_
This isn't working for me sadly, but the reason may be because when I open Spotify, add it on the game activity, and then close Spotify and open it again, I guess it fails to recognize Spotify? I don't know, when I open Spotify again after adding it to the list, it doesn't acknowledge that Spotify is open.
Is there a way to fix this?
I'm not sure if this is important, but I downloaded Spotify from the Microsoft Store and not the website.

In the Game Activity tab, turn off "Display currently running game as a status message" your Spotify should have a blue "verified" checkmark by it, if not, close Spotify and delete it from your game list. It should work after you do that.

hello, may I ask you a question?, if I login into a different gmail account for discord and spotify accounts, how do I connect between the two?, because I've tried to connect to both accounts, and as a result the spotify account is connected to discord is an account with the same gmail to login to discord, how to solve this?, please answer my question !

May I ask if its possible to put two status on discord? example: you are playing a game while listening to spotify?
I did all the steps, I had it connected in the first place. it isn't showing up on mobile or pc. I did the step where you connect it in game activity and it doesn't show up on my profile, it shows the little [?]. After that it was in the added games and stuff, yet when I went to my profile it still doesn't display the exact song I'm playing.

I just got a problem i never had before, Discord shows the wrong song, and it constantly stay at minute 0:00 too.
I already did everything mentioned on the video, i even deleted Spotify, and it still showed that one song i'm "listening" to, which is pretty much impossible and absurd.
Already fully deinstalled Discord and Spotify, and it didn't fixed it at all, i have no idea what else i should do.

the problem i have is so different if i play a song on my phone with spotify discord will show if i play a song on the web browser discord will show what am listening to. its when i use the desktop app thats when discord will never show what am listening to so as far as i know am stuck here because am not finding anybody with that issue.
Got it! Thank you Sir! If it doesn't work for you just follow the steps and restart the discord and the spotify (Exit from discord from that arrow in right bottom)
It didn't show for me, and I couldn't click on the button that allows others to hear what I hear on spotify. However I figured it out myself, and it was just because my status was set to offline.

To me it is well this is awkward it is saying i have an unsupported browser so i can't connect to spotify it has options for websites i can download like google chrome etc. but when i click connect account it always takes me to microsoft edge it will never take me automatically to google chrome

What worked for me was removing my Spotify account from Discord then readding it again. It only stopped working because I changed my Spotify password so I just needed to readd it with the new password.

There is no song album image and at the bottom of the song title reads "on null" while im listening on discord. Is it error or not? Can you help me? I don't know what i must to do. :')

Hey! I press Spotify button to connect it, but it does nothing. I did everything even reinstalled discord, tried other stuff but still not helping..
Every time i press on anything under user settings it comes up with streamer mode enabled and i can't access that area.

Discord has changed so there is no longer a Game Activity to click on, so I still can not find a way to add Spotify. I did add it in the Connections, just do not see it anywhere on my page or server, any advice

None of these worked for me :( i tried spotify support but they never replied to my forum post. My spotify works when i listen on my phone or in a web browser just not my spotify app on desktop. yes i reinstalled spotify/discord multiple times and disconnected them multiple times and still nothing. I have a feeling it has something to do with either firewall or Windows services since my friend was messing with them from teamviewer before it broke for another issue i had. If anyone knows a fix please let me know i have been stumped for like 3 days now

Anyone have any tips? I dont use a PC. And I use a google chrome. I want to display the games I am playing on my status but It wont work.. I go to Game Ativity and it says like a switch that says display games when on PC? Like thats all it shows.
