      I wonder how people in a 3rd world country would identify with the statement "Im being held hostage."
      Yes your being held hostage... in your mom's basement, in air condidtion, playing video games, while shoveling pizza in your mouth and drinking fizzy, sugar water.

    • @CardiniPanini
      @CardiniPanini หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Dekaide44 ehh idk my interpretation of statements like "held hostage" or similar extreme statements are that they're like "figures of speech" in gaming; I don't like when people say that they're being held hostage, but not because of how it "infantilizes wartime", like you suggest. For me, I get annoyed by that statement because usually the person saying it has given up before the game has even really started. I don't think the statement is problematic though like you do, which is where I think we disagree. To me, "held hostage" in games is like "it's raining cats and dogs." Obviously that statement does not imply that cats and dogs dying after falling from great heights is not a serious matter and that we can talk about it loosely. It's a figure of speech.

    Speaking of Orianna's passive, is there ever a world where you can build around it via buying a Nashor's tooth and going like, PTA to further enhance it? I'm almost certain no one hasn't actually bothered testing such a wildly weird idea. But who knows, maybe it actually works?
    Also in defense of this. I do acknowledge that "This sounds stupid, why would I do that?" I would like to point out Locket-rush Varus. Where Varus literally rushes Locket first item (Which Pekin quite literally did a video on just recently) and it just works. Even though any sane person would assume that idea would be batshit crazy and not work.

      There was a pro player around season 4 (around when Morello's was every mage's core item) who'd buy it instead, with the rationale that it had similar AP, similar CDR, extra on-hit. Don't think that's true these days, but it has happened in the past.

    • @BunnyTwist
      @BunnyTwist 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I think it’s just doomed to not work because if you want to build full damage, you’ll have to be in short range while being be super squishy, which is hard when your AA range is so short. And if you wanna build some sort of bruiser build, your ratios won’t really work
      Combine that with the relatively low AP ratio on the passive and it becomes rlly hard to justify
      I’m sure it’s doable if you smurf or something of course, but if you face a similar skill level opponent whose build compliments their character more, you’ll almost always feel underwhelming
      imo a build like locket varus works since he has plenty of damage in his base kit, and locket solves some of his squishiness, it’s a completely different concept than AA orianna

    This proves something my friend was arguing about with me When it came to unranked newer people getting pulled into matches with friends who play at much higher ranks but pop into norms. Once someone that is of decent rank finds the singular opening (level 3 in this case), the game can be in fact over by just utilizing game knowledge. And it kinda doesn't matter how good the person is at playing the game, they will just slowly lose continuously.
    Also if all you get is stomps might as well upload em

Every game is so situational, and even if the entire team is just stomping, clearly you're better for a reason and watching the "good" thought processes and why you're making these decisions are very entertaining to watch. Your gameplay has helped me win games a lot, recreating things you do in your videos is always useful since i am low elo, its a basic thing but in my games it changes so much things haha

    We have all played so many games with people like Illaoi. The true zen is realizing that most of these players are deeply unhappy with their irl lives and their only outlet for their frustration is League. Mute all and enjoy.

    Illaoi saying that her teammates were too proud to ff when it's literally her being too proud to accept losing and wanting to do it on her own terms instead lmao.
    I tend to enjoy Pekin's videos more when the games are more challenging, but it's nice seeing stomps when the advantages he gets were derived from his better decision-making instead of teammates influence.

    How to crush lane:
    Step 1: Be good.
    Step 2: See step 1.

    I mean, stomp games is good as a "bonus". It's okay to just add 15 min more to the video.

    Personally I don't mind stompy games, but at the same time I wouldn't just want only stompy games. I like games where your team carries, or even some where you sometimes lose. It's fun to watch different kinds of matches though. Sorry for asking a lot

    Personally, watching stomps is a lot of fun. Not every day, but I would rather you upload them if they fit your theme

    knowing what to do when you're ahead is always valuable, I feel like thats a big weakness for players in low elo. Alot of people go 20/5, but they lose the game from endlessly chasing kills.

    Stompy matches are cool to watch, I think any where you put 3 games in are fun to watch since it gives variety of opponents too. I guess the only stomp heavy matches that would be kind of meh is one where you barely get to make any plays/do anything because like an enemy top laner is literally int-ing.

    I appreciate the non stomp videos but if its the difference between torturing yourself all night or putting out a stop compolation im cool with that!

    The only games you should toss are where your team carries you. If you stomp lane that should be a reason to include it, and if your other lanes' opponenets give you a challenge to overcome later that is the kind of perfect game that other youtubers create fake situations to guarantee.

    tbh my favourite part of the game to watch is lane phase, so I don't really care if you steamroll once lane phase is over. Only games I think that'd be really meh would be ones where like. Bot mega-stomps, takes tower at like 8mins, takes over mid, etc.
