With the slight changes to Stormsurge and Shadowflame, it's now possible to get a total of 45 magic pen on your first two items plus Sorc boots at a cost of 7200 gold. This is actually pretty insane when fighting squishier champs in the mid game (adc's, ranged apc's, enchanter supports), because if they don't build magic resist or get resist from runes/earth dragon, then you deal TRUE DAMAGE with all of your magic damage. For instance; from the 17:00 minute mark to about 25:30 (video time not game time), Smolder hadn't hit level 14 and had less than 45 mres. You were dealing true damage with your abilities to him for 8 minutes, and true damage to Lux and Senna for the rest of the game as well! Anyways, I think the magic pen fully overriding innate resists is why these 2 items plus boots is strong. Can definitely make some more content trying out some different champs with solid clickbait titles about dealing true damage😀
Some people play talentless champions like Lux and Xerath, but not Pekin. He plays only the most challenging difficult Champions there are. Like Katarina.
32:48 you got the shunpo reset from the kill but you used it to go on the dagger, which only partially reset the cooldown again (you can see it went to 2 seconds when you were spam pressing it to go to lee sin). imo you had 3 options there: 1. shunpo -> flash to lee sin (you can buffer shunpo with flash for an extra long blink), 2. shunpo -> flash back to your own minions which were out of tower range or 3. w for move speed then shunpo to your minons (this one is less reliable as it needs to be done INSTANTLY after the kill with a very small margin for error in order to not take an extra tower shot). the key mistake was getting baited by your dagger which caused you to waste the shunpo reset and put it on cooldown (an honest mistake, katarina brain see dagger must shunpo, happens to the best of us)
was about to type it out but yup, pretty much this. shunpo'd in, w, q - kill, immediately shunpo'd your Q dagger as it spawned, likely not realizing you already got the kill, assumed you got the kill after the second shunpo thus couldn't shunpo over the wall because you already used kill reset. so really, the biggest mistake that was made was just not realizing when he had the kill.
