I have this version of the game and the older version from Richard Borg that was published by TSR. Enjoy it. Need to get the new version to the table though.
I own this game and it's quite good. I have anyway some doubt regarding the rules: 1: may RAF player decide to dogfight against a German flight that has been intercepted previously by another RAF flight? 2: the number of intercept/dogfight tokes is limited, so the RAF player should decide which German flighs trying to fight off. RAF player is allowed to engage in a dogfight only when the spotted German flight is within the range of three squares?
Raf player can only conduct combat with the amount of yokens he has dogfight or intercept. Raf may dogfight a plane that was intercepted last turn. Hope that helps
You only stop if the RAF player chooses to "intercept", which the RAF can do up to 5 times a turn - the Germans have 7 flights, so some will be uninterrupted. All targets are within 10 squares of a German airbase, so the Germans will always reach their target with at least 1 of their fuel points remaining, even if they were stopped at intercept. But if I understand correctly, 5/7 of the time their fighters will have to roll to avoid being destroyed because fighters have to do this if there is only 1 barrel of fuel left.
BATTLE OF BRITAIN review(enjoy)

25:58 On British repair you roll the white British dice only, not the black German dice.

then how as playing the Luftflotte get to your mission space if you stop your movement at radar and intercept, losing moving points and fuel ?

I’ll stick with John Butterfield’s masterpiece “RAF 1940”.
