Mark Baker is a bowling coach with a football coach delivery. His analysis has depth and width. He is technical but clear AND direct. Its not magic, its math. I love these episodes. Keep them coming!
Love the shout out to Earl Anthony… I’m lucky to bowl his alley in Dublin as frequently as I can… Looking towards my chance to get some coaching from Mr. Baker
@@TheCleanUpCrew300same boat here , no thumb , 1hander that has been bowling only since October 2023, average started around 125 for my Sunday league. now , less than a year later my average is up to 176 ish for my Tuesday league. Majority of my knowledge has come from this channel alone.
love these videos man! mark provides such an insight to the sport i love and he really makes it easy to understand. really wish i could get some lessons with him
Hi I like the coaching it’s the best now I am leaning so much and it’s taking my game to the next level or average 200 /220 I love the sport braking down the lane is my gold every time because like you said every lane is different and finding the right ball so keep up the coaching it’s great Tony.
Can you maybe do a video on what kind of bowling balls work for different styles of bowlers? stroker, tween, cranker? And for people that are speed dom, matched or rev dom. I'd like to know this because I would consider myself a match player that leans a little towards the rev dome side and I would like to know what I'm looking for in a bowling ball.
We are actually in the process of this right now. We're doing one about ball selection, what balls are good for what styles, and how to properly choose/use an arsenal. Keep an eye out for it in the next month after we finish up at the Masters
I have it on my non sliding foot out of comfort and I’ve become accustomed to the grip that the bottom has. They aren’t used for outside wear at all, so it doesn’t damage the approach of the lanes. If it’s a tournament that doesn’t allow me to wear a different shoe, then I can find a matching pair that provides that same grip the vans have. It also adds a little style in my preference 🤣
I strongly recommend getting the absolute power. I have nearly every ball from SPI over the last year and absolute power has been amazing on a lot of different patterns. But if you need something that destroys house shots, you have to have the absolute power. Oh! You should also consider the Xponent solid.
The stance holds almost no weight in your actual shotmaking. Just get up there, put your hand in, take a deep breath while you focus on your target, and go. You will learn what's actually wrong if you put more weight on everything else. Also, you aren't the only person who's bowling in league, and no one in the house has enough on the line to play slowly.

🔥🔥🔥🔥
Love the content!! Can you do a video of high rev(400+) low speed(14 mph) and how to adjust plz
Sounds like a good topic. I think we can definitely put something together talking about that.
Where can we get Mark Baker video/book to buy
Www.markbakerbowling.com has links to it all. The video is called Changing the Game and there is a link to it on the main page
You turn a doorknob. You roll a bowling ball.

What’s the reasoning with the vans on one foot? Does it help with power and grip? Genuinely curious cause I might try it just to see how it feels

Just curious, what is the significance of the name "West Pac"?
Western Pacific Bowling Supply if I remember correctly. They're a supplier for equipment.
@@TheCleanUpCrew300 Thanks for the quick response. That's an odd name for something in SoCal which is in the Eastern Pacific.
Why did he say not to start with your palm facing the ceiling?
What ball was being thrown?
900 global harsh reality
What was the name of the ball the he Mark recommended for most players?

@@shanehelm1570 hey thanks a lot! Really appreciate it. I will definitely be getting one next.
So you don't really need that much revs and still be able to carry a 200 plus average?
Absolutely, revs does not equate to score by an means
@TheCleanUpCrew300 Isn't hi Rev rate the reason for more and more 2handers?
What ball do you recommend for someone that's 78, very short backswing (shoulder injury) and a ball speed of about 9 1/2- 10mph
10:36 Why the comment about bowlers style of set up pryor to delivery, do we need to just grab and run
