Never have I been so impressed with just hearing two words sung in a song than in "House of Cards". When I first heard Jin sing "No way, No way" I was blown away. Jin had other short solo spots in other songs, but they mainly went unnoticed by me. And "Euphoria" hadn't come out yet. But you are right. He sang his part like he was singing to a specific person, the love of his life. Even though the other member's voices shine with their harmonies and tone, Jin still stood out to me. I come from a musical theatre background, and I immediately noticed Jin was belting his words out. The last row of the theatre heard him for sure. No one else in BTS can belt. I am sure his voice teacher taught him this skill. It's a singing technique when a singer uses his chest voice to produce a powerful, resonant sound while carrying their voice above their break point into their head voice. It's a common technique used in musical theatre. With Jin's acting talent and musical theatre voice he could overtake Broadway in New York. That's how talented he is. And he could do movies. In fact, I written a movie for him to star in that would break everyone's heart. And he would win Best Actor first sure. But alas, he doesn't want to act. He is dedicated to BTS. I think the song is about unstable relationships and wanting to hold on to it even though they feel insecure, but it is like a house of cards that could collapse at any time. They are saying that even though the know that it is unstable they want to dream and hang on. It tugs at your heartstrings and it is a sad song.

My fave quote is from their performance director Song Songdeuk, who has said if BTS ever perform Louder Than Bombs live he will create a lethally sexy choreography. You probably don’t know this song yet but it’s a fan fave, particularly because we haven’t seen it live yet. It’s got moody and haunting vibes. Other good examples of them doing sexy choreography to a serious song is for Tomorrow (find the live from 2017 you won’t be sorry) or fun choreography for Baepsae (Silver Spoon) although others will call it sexy cause there’s legendary hip thrusts…my take is that gesture means f-$# you - the song is all about the clash between the classes, whether it’s older gen vs younger gen or the wealthy against the poor. I also love the choreography for Go Go. The song sounds like a total bop but the subject matter is how the Korean youth struggle financially through no fault of their own. My fave Go Go live is the one with the hearts but it’s BTS so you can’t really go wrong with any version you pick.

This was definitely not in 2019. I watched this tour when they brought it to my country in 2016. Jungkook was turning 18. The 95z were 20. Jin was 23. And it’s definitely not a sexy song when you consider the lyrics. Genre is definitely sexy hahahaha but the lyrics is about a relationship on the brink of ending. I've been waiting to tell you this true story about Jin. Obviously, you know they hired Jin because of his looks. And no, those aren't his original teeth. But that's my opinion. Jin has posted pics of himself even before he got in BTS. He would be walking around or on vacation and random people would ask if they could take their picture with him. He was that handsome to them. When I carefully looked at those pics, he doesn't have perfect teeth. You'll have to do your own research. Its controversial to say anything about the boy's looks from back then till now. Now back to my story. Jin was immediately assigned a voice teacher. In fact, you can find her being interviewed on TH-cam. That's where I got most of this story. He showed up at his first lesson and announced, "I can't sing." She immediately applied a voice test to him to assess his vocal range. I took private voice lessons when I got into college. I always thought I was an alto. Until my voice teacher gave me this assessment. I found out I was really a soprano. Jin found out he had a vocal range. And she began working with him. And finally. Finally, she convinced him not only could he sing, but also that he had a beautiful performance voice with an unusual range. When these facts finally clicked in his brain, he started practicing and practicing. His voice teacher said he became her hardest working student. And trained ever so hard. Thats when he became her favorite student. He is still in contact with her. He invites her to concerts. My opinion. Big Hit and Mr. Bang were very, very lucky that Jin wasnt just handsome, but that he was also very talented. They hit the jackbox with Jin. And he had never danced before. He could not pick up choreography fast. He had a really hard time memorizing steps...let alone just doing the complicated set of steps that created a whole unique choreographed song. So he worked for hours during the day dancing. Then he hired a tutor to keep training him after the group rehearsals were over!!! He said in an interview that he dedicated himself to learn dance just liked if he had been hired at a new job and assigned a new job to learn a new skill. I had no idea he had never danced before. And I'm a choreographer too. So because of all of Jin's dedicated work he became my favorite. I dont like the word bias. I love all of them for different reasons. But i really respect Jin's work ethic. And he makes me laugh the most out of all of them!! And he loves to eat. I would love to go to dinner with him and watch him eat plates of food. And slurping up all those rameon noodles. And of course, I'd love to direct him in my movie for him. I would love to be his friend. So...you do understand he can't marry you. Because secretly he is already married to me. Shhh shhhh. Don't tell anyone. I have more to tell you about Jin. But at another time. "No way. No way." I hear those words in my heart and brain many times.
If you haven't noticed, in other songs Jin belts his solo part out. And always elevates the song to a higher impact. I particularly love his part in "Fix You." It's a Coldplay cover that all of the guys sing." I highly recommend you watch it. It was a MTV special. In my opinion it is their best harmonies and group work together to date! I was so very sad when Jin left for the military. I cried and cried. I prayed for him every night. Usually when I was outside walking my dog looking up at the moon. Jin excelled as a soldier. Won all the top prizes. Was promoted first out of his company. He was recognized by the upper echelons of the military. But he was most proud of this. He gained 20 lbs of muscle. Up to 160. Still so very skinny, but it made him more healthy and happier! He got down to 120 during the pandemic. He became very depressed. He said he played video games for 12 hours a day. Then slept 12 hours a day. And forgot to eat. All classic signs of clinical depression. But finally, he asked for help. The right thing to do. He also went to his boss, Mr. Bang. I've been waiting to tell you this true story about Jin. Obviously, you know they hired Jin because of his looks. And no, those aren't his original teeth. But that's my opinion. Jin has posted pics of himself even before he got in BTS. He would be walking around or on vacation and random people would ask if they could take their picture with him. He was that handsome to them. When I carefully looked at those pics, he doesn't have perfect teeth. You'll have to do your own research. Its controversial to say anything about the boy's looks from back then till now. Now back to my story. Jin was immediately assigned a voice teacher. In fact, you can find her being interviewed on TH-cam. That's where I got most of this story. He showed up at his first lesson and announced, "I can't sing." She immediately applied a voice test to him to assess his vocal range. I took private voice lessons when I got into college. I always thought I was an alto. Until my voice teacher gave me this assessment. I found out I was really a soprano. Jin found out he had a vocal range. And she began working with him. And finally. Finally, she convinced him not only could he sing, but also that he had a beautiful performance voice with an unusual range. When these facts finally clicked in his brain, he started practicing and practicing. His voice teacher said he became her hardest working student. And trained ever so hard. Thats when he became her favorite student. He is still in contact with her. He invites her to concerts. My opinion. Big Hit and Mr. Bang were very, very lucky that Jin wasnt just handsome, but that he was also very talented. They hit the jackbox with Jin. And he had never danced before. He could not pick up choreography fast. He had a really hard time memorizing steps...let alone just doing the complicated set of steps that created a whole unique choreographed song. So he worked for hours during the day dancing. Then he hired a tutor to keep training him after the group rehearsals were over!!! He said in an interview that he dedicated himself to learn dance just liked if he had been hired at a new job and assigned a new job to learn a new skill. I had no idea he had never danced before. And I'm a choreographer too. So because of all of Jin's dedicated work he became my favorite. I dont like the word bias. I love all of them for different reasons. But i really respect Jin's work ethic. And he makes me laugh the most out of all of them!! And he loves to eat. I would love to go to dinner with him and watch him eat plates of food. And slurping up all those rameon noodles. And of course, I'd love to direct him in my movie for him. I would love to be his friend. So...you do understand he can't marry you. Because secretly he is already married to me. Shhh shhhh. Don't tell anyone. I have more to tell you about Jin. But at another time. "No way. No way." I hear those words in my heart and brain many times.
If you haven't noticed, in other songs Jin belts his solo part out. And always elevates the song to a higher impact. I particularly love his part in "Fix You." It's a Coldplay cover that all of the guys sing." I highly recommend you watch it. It was a MTV special. In my opinion it is their best harmonies and group work together to date! I was so very sad when Jin left for the military. I cried and cried. I prayed for him every night. Usually when I was outside walking my dog looking up at the moon. Jin excelled as a soldier. Won all the top prizes. Was promoted first out of his company. He was recognized by the upper echelons of the military. But he was most proud of this. He gained 20 lbs of muscle. Up to 160. Still so very skinny, but it made him more healthy and happier! He got down to 120 during the pandemic. He became very depressed. He said he played video games for 12 hours a day. Then slept 12 hours a day. And forgot to eat. All classic signs of clinical depression. But finally, he asked for help. The right thing to do. He also went to his boss, Mr. Bang. He told Jin to write a song about his hard times. He wrote "Abyss". Please react to it. Thank you.

"It's dead silent". That's cause their in Japan and Japanese crowd are so unique in the world that they know when to cheer and when to keep quiet. It's also Japan's way of showing appreciation to an artist. There was this one time when Jin was performing his solo track when there was just TOTAL silence and just rounds and rounds of applause to show TOTAL appreciation to Jin and that made him Cry after the performance. I believe it was Jin's solo song "AWAKE" that is part of their album, Wings. There's more to come. This is just the beginning. I just kinda hope for more videos in a week if possible 😘
