Thanks for the shoutout! Your Spidey came out pretty nice, the colors look great in the video! It was good you primed everything first, I made the mistake of skipping that step with my own custom. I'm wondering if a lighter grey or even a white primer would help make it easier to paint the red and have it come out brighter. Regardless the color of the red still looks good. Nice job!
Looks pretty good bro. As you said yourself, that metallic blue, looks amazing! If I could give you a tad bit of advise...having been doing customs myself, for around 15 years... the red didn't neccessary need thinned, you just need to apply very thin coats. In situations like that, where you have thick paint, I basically dry brush, until I achieve the color/saturation I'm going for. It's a really good way to never have brush strokes. It may take a bit longer and be a bit more tedious, but it's hella worth it! And, a black wash to bring out your webbing details would make it look even cooler! Don't take this as criticism, because I really dig what you've got. I'm just trying to be helpful. New to your channel, subscribed. 🙂 Sik
Hey man, the blue paint i used was “Deco Art: Extreme Sheen Sapphire”. I wouldnt use the same red paint i used since it came out kind of crappy but I’m sure you can find a good red paint from Deco Art or Vallejo Paints
