These cushcores were already installed, otherway they couldn't be installed on these rims so easy. Just TODAY I installed two wheelsets with new cushcores, all new - Flow MK3, Mavic EN827. Each one took some time and eforce to install !!
A bike shop sent us these because they were having trouble with installation. So yes, the CushCore inserts have been installed before, but only once. I can confirm, after watching Adam install many inserts, that is normal for him.
We use sealant. The same quantity you normally use. It's best to inject it through the valve hole with a syringe. The sealant spreads around between the insert and the rim, so it bathes the bead area in sealant to help it seal. Once you start riding, the sealant gets forced outward through the channels to the tread area for puncture protection.

I am an attorney and mountain biker. I think your really should include a disclosure something like not recommended if you are suicidal.

Kev - You will want to add 2 oz. of sealant through the valve after the tire is installed.
