I work as an Etihad cabin crew, and yes, what you've mentioned about the company is very accurate. Personally, I chose Etihad over Emirates because of its less stressful environment (as you've mentioned) and also better crew lifestyle :) Yes, you're right, salary wise Etihad pays less, but I really enjoyed the perks with tickets and also long layovers (if you're lucky you can get 49h-72h range layovers). Another great part of it is that the company does analyse the feedback from the crew and make some changes based on that.. What I could add to your list of pros is that Etihad did hire a lot of crew online (which is great for both sides) and from the downside is minimum rest that we have sometimes (means we can operate some flights with only 16-18h rest in-between). Overall, I like working here :) also the uniform, the management that takes into consideration the feedbacks and also that it is based in Abu Dhabi (I don't like crowded cities, like Dubai... but it's just me, so yeah)
oh, girl, your uniform is so stylish and beautiful, Emirates’ potato bag can’t compete (though I do like the red hat) 😂 I really hope Emirates updates its uniform soon, cuz they haven’t changed it since 2008. Thanks for your comment and for sharing your experience! I totally agree, Etihad’s work environment is so much better and more relaxed. I have many friends there, and they don’t complain nearly as much as Emirates crew do 😁 That said, it’s all about priorities, if your goal is to save money quickly, Emirates is the better choice. But if you want a long-term cabin crew career, Etihad is definitely better for your mental health. I don’t regret my time with Emirates, though. They have more destinations than Etihad, so I traveled a lot and was often lucky to get long layovers (48-72 hours). These days, Emirates doesn’t offer as many long layovers (except for the U.S.), there are still a few, but mostly 24 hours now. Wishing you all the best with your career 🥰
Thanks for the video!!! Ive been considering Etihad way more than Emirates lately after the fiasco that was my assessment day with the agency that recruits in Brazil, from what Ive seen as well one of the huge bonus for Etihad is that part of their assessment can be done completely online, so mich affordable for those who need to travel to make it 😊
My pleasure) It’s great to hear that you’re considering Etihad. The fact that part of the assessment can be done online definitely makes it more accessible. Wishing you the best of luck with your application, Etihad is a great airline to work for ☺️
The pay is notably lower than Emirates as of now, but in exchange for a healthier work environment that considers you as a person I would love to work with them over Emirates if the opportunity arises 😌
Hello sweetheart ❤❤❤ I have been watching videos related to cabin crew for years.. and most of the time the informations are always repeated and is very general and neutral to the point that I cannot understand the details.. Today I heard a lot of new informations that I had never heard before and I understood very well many of the details.. I I feel very grateful for your effort💌💗 and thank you for your giving ❤❤❤ and for all those informations
At my case I have attended Assesment day for Ettihad in Copenhagen. It was the very first time I got to any final interview with middle eastern company. However, got rejected after the final, same like the emirates last time :(. For now I am trying to get Etihad cc position at the nearest assesment in Lisbon. Gonna prepare more for the final interview questions for sure ! :)
Hello💜 what can you say about the private Life? Is it easy to make connections with new people and turn them into a friendship? Or it is hard to mentain your friendships? And what about of loving someone from this area (stewart or a pilot or idk) is it possible to Bild a relationship considering the distance and the time you could spend apart? I also didn’t see anyone talking about the fact that you are flying with the same cabin Crews all along or is another one at every flight? Thank you so much☀️
Oh, this is such a huge topic that I won’t be able to cover it in the comments. I’m actually thinking of making a video about it)) But to give you a short answer: yes, it’s possible. I have many friends from my time with Emirates, and I’m married. But, of course, it’s not easy to maintain a healthy relationship with this lifestyle 😬
Hi! I’m very happy with your video. A year ago, I applied to Etihad, and today I finally got the date for the final interview. For Emirates, the agencies that recruit in Brazil and Paraguay already treat us like just a number, and they even discriminate against us for hairstyles (they told me my hair part had to be on the side, not in the middle). You have to attend two very long interview days, spend money on transportation, and ask for time off from your current job. With Etihad here in Latin America, everything is online. It takes a long time, but at least you don’t waste as much time on unnecessary steps like with Emirates interviews. If you didn’t make it with Emirates, try Etihad. They may also take a long time or even reject you, but you won’t lose anything in the process. So I’ve made it this far, and whether I get accepted or rejected, I’ll be sharing updates here !
Hey, glad to hear that and I wish you good luck! 🥰 I won’t be applying as I’m already done with my cabin crew career, 5 years with Emirates was enough 😁 But keep sharing your experience, it will be useful for people applying to Etihad right now))
Thank you for your videos 😉 I have a question. I applied and received the invitation for a Virtual Assessment Day; however, my email filtered it as a promotional email, so I didn’t see it. Now I would like to apply again since the 6-month period to reapply has passed, but the website doesn’t allow me to submit my application again. Should I create a new email account?
Oh, it’s really frustrating that your email ended up in spam. If the website doesn’t allow you to reapply, I think creating another profile is the best option. Wishing you luck, and don’t forget to keep an eye on the spam folder this time 😉✨
@@anittageorge9 Bahrain is lovely but such a small country, which is probably why people don’t mention it often. A friend of mine used to work for Gulf Air, which is based in Bahrain, and only had good things to say about it. I’ve never been there myself, but I’ve done plenty of Bahrain flights 😁
Hii! I was wondering a lot say Etihad pay less than emirates. How much difference is the monthly payment (about) between the two?? Have a wonderful day ❤️
It really depends on how many flight hours you have per month and which destinations you are flying to, but you can expect a 1-3k dirham difference in salary. Emirates will pay higher.
I have a video about Emirates crew salary that’s really detailed, feel free to check it out if you’re interested. In this video, I mentioned that the basic salary and flight hours of Emirates and Etihad are different. For example, Etihad’s economy class basic salary is 3,000 dirhams with 58 dirhams per flight hour, while Emirates offers a basic salary of 4,800 dirhams with 66 dirhams per flight hour, both for economy class. So yes, Emirates pays more.
In the Etihad they do not require anything experience in serving clients Or at least it is not a basic condition, I think I will apply to it soon, but can you tell us the admission stages?
Previous customer service experience isn’t mandatory, but it’s definitely a bonus for your application. The recruitment process consists of the following stages: Application, Screening, Assessment, Offer and Joining. Good luck to you 😊✈️
It’s not that no one talks about them, if you want, you can find TH-cam channels by their crew as well. They’re just smaller and not as popular as Emirates, Qatar, or Etihad in the Middle East. But I’ll cover those airlines in my future videos too 🥰
This job is extremely physically demanding (night shifts, jet lag, radiation, etc.), so airlines tend to hire candidates up to 30 years old. There might be exceptions for candidates with experience, but that’s how it usually works, especially in the Middle East. Some local airlines might hire candidates in your age, check them out 🥰
It does. They are not as strict as Emirates about age, and I know they are hiring up to 30 years crew without previous experience. If you’re an experienced crew member, you can apply. However, in general, they prioritize younger candidates.
No, I mention it in the video. I worked for Emirates, and most of my videos are about Emirates. But I also make videos about other airlines, this time, it’s about Etihad ☺️ The information comes from Etihad’s official sources and insider details from my friends who work there)
It’s all about personal preference: Dubai’s always buzzing and great for people who love to party, while Abu Dhabi is quieter and more family-friendly. Personally, I wouldn’t mind living in Abu Dhabi, it’s just a 1.5-hour drive to Dubai. But yeah, for some people, that might be a downside 😁
So, what do you think: Etihad, Qatar, or Emirates? Which airline would you choose to work for and why? Let’s compare them in the comments 🥰
I think Etihad can you please do Singapore airline

No, I think it’s actually easier. The service is almost the same, but the atmosphere in the company is way more relaxed)
