People constantly out here saying that it's just Naruto Storm with a Demon Slayer skin. And how exactly is that a bad thing? The storm series is by far the best arena fighter when it's about anime games.
He forgets to mention that the campaign is heavily censored, every single one of the bloodier scenes is either censored or removed completely, such as the guy being flung out of the window of Kyogai’s house, Nezuko’s hand nearly being cut off, Rui’s sister being beheaded and others. So that’s pretty annoying that a lot of iconic scenes are removed, and also the entire final Rengoku fight scene is blocked if u try to stream on PS5. And all of the collectible cut scenes are blocked and unstreamable too.
Id say MHA would've done better with the Burning Blood approach tbh. CC2 or rather, Storm format, is literally touch 1 button, throw in a support maybe and thats the entire gameplan. OJ2 def upgraded from 1 but even where it stands now, its gameplay isnt just to faceroll buttons and win like how CC2 does with their Fighting games.
After that u ll get bored fast and easy, because the combat system s just soo much simple and there s only 12 characters usable, and any oni for play or all hashiras too, only giyu,shinobu and rengoku
Im really really enjoying so far, fans of this type of game and demon slayer will be very happy, ppl who arent will either be turned off or become new fans its all around great so far

@@rickdiculous5655 there's no frame data so you cannot counter any block string, cancelling a whiff attack is unacceptable, whiff punishing is an core part of fighting games, so lets say you smash the attack button and you are left wide open by pressing only ONE button the attack is cancel and you are perfectly fine, gameplay should punishing players who mash buttons letting to more psychological play instead of just execution. The cast is really bad everyone has different move but the same execution which is lame and overall the game feels (at least for me) like a cash grab.

The devs made so many storm games and they never bother balancing characters to not be op. If you are going to buy this game for the pvp, keep that in mind. If you are buying it for story, you should wait for a discounr.
I’m glad the game is similar to the Storm Series! The story gameplay seems simple and linear but ay, watch the anime or read the manga for the best story experience. The fighting game play looks amazing!

While the shell is clearly the same as Ninja Storm, having played it a decent amount it's different enough to stand on it's own two feet. Because you don't have the four substitution charges and your assist is the primary combo breaker there's much more incentive to not button mash your way to victory. There's also pretty much no projectiles so zoning is non-existent. The smaller changes have massive ramifications on the gameplay and make it feel much more intense IMO
This review sold it to me. Ordered & waiting patiently for it to arrive. Hopefully it's as fun as it sounds 🤞🏻 Edit: It was great fun. Highlights are the combat, voice acting, and music from the show.

Japanese developers are known with reusing assets, look at all the senran kagura games or hyperdimensions series for an example, there are more games doing it. not accusing all the Japanese devs though, but there's a lots of devs doing it on save cost and budget.

honestly this game is really bad. The story is kinda fun ig but the multiplayer is terrible. The netcode is horrendous and the characters are grossly unbalanced. Plus, multiplayer matches come down to whoever gets a combo first, since they’re impossible to break out of without having your assist meter full and even a new player can easily drain 3/4 of your health in a single combo. If you enjoy either spamming one button or staring at your monitor as your health falls to zero, this game is for you.
He didn't say that it wasn't. His only complaint about the combo gauge was how you can be mid-animation with certain moves and suddenly the opponent will slip out and you'll be completely exposed in the middle of something that should be connecting.

Should’ve just made a BLEACH game. The story is already finished. Combat is phenomenal. Base roster could’ve been 30+ characters. 🤷♂️

the problem with the characters is that the game devs prob dont wanna spoil ahead of the anime, so DLC should include characters from the Entertainment district arc, and perhaps the original sun breath user????
The criticism about the amount of fighters is an odd one to make, considering it’s the majority of the characters we know of or have fought in the anime at this point 😂
Sure from that context, which is a very odd one to focus so hard on, but from the context of the game's genre it is a very obvious criticism. Not to mention tying that criticism with mentioning how similar some of the moves are.

This is made by CC2 who made Naruto Storm games and DBZ Kakarot. Also its not a Ninja Storm skin it have new features , better graphics and some differences gameplay wise
