Spend nearly 2 thousand uk pounds on laptop to lose all yr data I never buy or use Microsoft ever again Nor dell. Mac for me from now on. Cheers microsoft, you lost all my data. One of the colleagues brought a locked dell laptop and i still can’t believe how shitty this issue is. F’em both for not bringing attention to this prior to disaster. Out of nowhere an update just locked the shit.Only solution to spend a thousand euro on a good graphics card and quite some time in order to try to crack it.Well not in the mood been busy already. Recommendation is to replace the hdd, make a fresh installation of windows and sell it for as much as You can get. For what You ll get buy a MacBook with those M processors, they rock. I’m so pissed even if this is not mine, time to setup a linux distro for everyday use.
