Assalaam Alaikum my dear brother, I'm a convert/revert too. I was suffering major depression and anxiety back in 2020 due to the isolation of the lockdowns, the isolation itself made me skeptical of my own sense of purpose. Alhamdulillah Islam was willed into my life by Allah(SWT) and He rescued me! May He bless you abundantly and grant you success and elevation in your journey, Ameen!!
1. Did Jesus founding Christianity? Did moses founding Judaism? And Muhammad founded Islam? Peace be upon them all. What is meant by Islam is probably the sharia that the prophet Muhammad taught. We must Focus on God and focus to what God has commanded, practice the teachings as in The Holy Scriptures of God (The Torah, the Gospel, the Quran) And obey the prophets, religions is made by man only make ppl blind, fanaticism And than Hostility arises. God sent down The Holy Scriptures to the prophets to deliver the words of God and The theaching monotheism/tauhid/Abraham faith. God commanded is to keep and practice the Torah, Gospel and Quran correctly. Therefore, God says (Quran 2:62) that he (God) does not really care about the religion man chose. As long as you only deify him Obey the law and carry out its commands And God said: Indeed, those who have attained faith and those who have Judaism and the Christians and the Sabians-whoever has attained faith in God and the Last Day and has acted righteously-then their reward is with their Lord, and no fear shall beupon them nor shall they grieve.
(Al-Quran Al-Baqarah:62) And this is how We have sent it (the Qur’ān) down as clear signs, and the fact is that God leads whom He wills to the right path.
As for those who believe and the Jews and the Sabians and the Christians and the Magians(Zoroastrian) and those who ascribe partners to God, God will judge between them on the Day of Judgment. Surely God is witness to every thing.(Al-Quran Al-Hajj[ 22]16-17)
2.The Tafsir Al-Quran needs to be revised , Especially the word Islam in tafsir must be interpreted so that there is no more misunderstanding.
👉Truly, the (recognized) religion in the sight of God is Islām [devotion to Him alone] . Those who have been given the Book did not differ (among themselves) until after the knowledge had come to them, (and all this) due to envy against each other. Whoever denies the verses of God, then, God is swift at reckoning.
(Al-Quran Āli-ʿImrān, Ayah 19) 👉Whoever seeks a way other than Islam,[[ i.e., full submission to the Will of God.]] it will never be accepted from them, and in the Hereafter they will be among the losers.(Al-Quran Āli-ʿImrān, Ayah 85) 3.Our Prophet Muhammad SAW rejected Judaism and Christianity because the religion of God is one is the Abraham faith (tauhid/monotheïsm) and Moses (peace be upon him) and Isa (peace be upon him) They did not create a religion they were to convey The revelations and carry out what was commanded in the holy book (torah and gospel). And in the Al-Quran Al-Hujurat[49]13-18 that Definition Islam is not as a religion, but it means surrender. 👉 O humanity! Indeed, We created you from a male and a female, and made you into peoples and tribes so that you may ˹get to˺ know one another. Surely the most noble of you in the sight of God is the most righteous among you. God is truly All-Knowing, All-Aware.˹Some of˺ the nomadic Arabs say, “We believe.” Say,(Muhammad PBUH),“You have not believed. But say, ‘We have Islam (surrender,submitted),’ for faith has not yet entered your hearts. But if you obey God and His Messenger ˹wholeheartedly˺,He will not discount anything from ˹the reward of˺ your deeds. God is truly All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”The ˹true˺ believers are only those who believe in God and His Messenger-never doubting-and strive with their wealth and their lives in the cause of God. They are the ones true in faith.Say, “Do you inform God of your faith, when God ˹already˺ knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth? And God has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of all things.”They regard their acceptance of Islam as a favour to you.Tell ˹them,[Muhammad PBUH], “Do not regard your Islam as a favour to me. Rather, it is God Who has done you a favour by guiding you to the faith, if ˹indeed˺you are faithful. Surely God knows the unseen of the heavens and earth. And God is All-Seeing of what you do.”(Al-Quran Al-Hujurat[49]13-18) Say (Muhammad PBUH), “As for me, my Lord has guided me to a straight path, the straight religion, the faith of Abraham who was upright and was not of those who associate partners with God.
Say, “My prayer, my offering, my life and my death are for God, the Lord of all the worlds.
For Him there is no partner. And thus I have been commanded, and I am the first one to submit.”Say, “Should I seek a lord other than God while He is the Lord of everything? And nobody does anything but to his own account, and no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return. Then He will let you know what you were disputing about.”It is He who made you the vicegerents of the earth and raised some of you in ranks over others, so that He may test you in what He has given you. Surely, your Lord is swift in punishing, and surely He is Most-Forgiving, Very-Merciful.(Al-Quran Al-An'am[6]161-165)
Say [Prophet] [to the Jews and Christians], ‘How can you argue with us about God when He is our Lord and your Lord? Our deeds belong to us, and yours to you. We devote ourselves entirely to Him.
Do you claim that Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants were all Jews or Christians?” Say, “Who is more knowledgeable: you or God?” Who does more wrong than those who hide the testimony they received from God? And God is never unaware of what you do.
That was a community that had already gone before. For them is what they earned and for you is what you have earned. And you will not be accountable for what they have done.(Al-Quran Al-Baqarah,139-141)
All men used to be a single faith. Then (after they differed in matters of faith), God sent prophets carrying good news and warning, and sent down with them the Book with Truth to judge between people in matters of their dispute. But it was no other than those to whom it (the Book) was given who, led by envy against each other, disputed it after the clear signs had come to them. Then God, by His will, guided those who believed to the truth over which they disputed; and God guides whom He wills to the straight path.(Al-Quran Al-Baqarah[2] 213) You who believe, be mindful of God, as is His due, and make sure you devote yourselves to Him, to your dying moment.
Hold fast to God’s rope all together; do not split into factions. Remember God’s favour to you: you were enemies and then He brought your hearts together and you became brothers by His grace; you were about to fall into a pit of Fire and He saved you from it- in this way God makes His revelations clear to you so that you may be rightly guided.
Be a community that calls for what is good, urges what is right, and forbids what is wrong: those who do this are the successful ones.
Do not be like those who, after they have been given clear revelation, split into factions and fall into disputes: a terrible punishment awaits such people.(Al-Quran Ali-Imran[3] 102-105)
For indeed, this community of yours is one community and I am your Lord, so be mindful of Me.” but they have split their community into sects, each rejoicing in their own. So leave them in their negligence for some time.
(Al-Quran Al-Muʾminūn,52-54)
The Messenger (Muhammad) has attained faith in what was sent down to him from his Lord, as have the believers. They have all attained faith in God and His angels and His scriptures and His messengers: “We make no distinction between any of His messengers.” And they said, “We have heard and obeyed.(Grant us) Your forgiveness, our Lord, for to You is the destiny.”(Al-Quran Al-Baqarah,285)

@@ayaansiciid765 summary: august 2023 i had an appointment for a checkup for some digestive issues i was having and they said they found a tumor and scheduled a date for biopsy the following month. i had already been looking into Islam for about a year at this point and I had already planned on becoming muslim but was still really new to it and didn't even finish reading the Qur'an yet. but i decided to just listen to Qur'an in arabic every night even though i didn't understand the words but it just sorta calmed me down. then come my next appointment i listened to Qur'an on the way to the hospital and when they took a biopsy they were able to remove the whole tumor in one piece and confirmed that it did in fact have cancer in it, but since they were able to remove it all in one piece the cancer didn't have a chance to spread.
Quran does not cure real cancer. Quran may help cure cancer of psyche ---- cancer of psyche is severe depression, severe anxiety , or severe mania----- along with psychotropic medications.
Without islam I would'nt see a reason to consume, work and pay bills for the rest of my human existence.
You still do, because you signed up to be a slave, the slave of Allah, while I was set free by Jesus and so I do not need to be a slave of anyone. I earn around $255 to $360 a day, depending on the hours and day of the week, and my present part-time job as a night watch with no degree required (though I do have one) is nothing fancy.
So in principle I only need to work 7 days a month on average. Have you ever wondered why Muslims flee and immigrate to Christian countries by the millions and never the other way around ?

I am a born Muslim. We all go through mental struggles. What helped me the most was Istighfar (repentance). Having a pure heart and asking God for help was my remedy

"A person is likely to follow the faith of his friend, so look whom you befriend." (Abu Dawood and At-Tirmidhi). This logic can be applied to infer that Islam acknowledges that who we surround ourselves with will affect our faith. She meant that she admires reverts for their strength as it gives her motivation, and seeking motivation is not a bad thing as even Ibrahim [a.s.] asked Allah for a miracle so that his heart can be at peace (Quran 2:260). Additionally, even during the early days of Islam, the reversion of certain people undoubtedly motivated others to follow along, an example being Umar ibn al-Khattab.

I too was born into the deen, from birth and stories of reverts give immense encouragement and new outlook to make me truly appreciate and be grateful for this beautiful deen. When you are born into the deen but raised in a secular home, as I was, you may not experience the deen as a revert would especially if you live in a Muslim country where you take for granted the Muslim faith. So kindly understand that and not be harsh in response because you never know what someone else’s life journey may be; although I live in a predominantly Muslim country, I did not experience the true Islam until now at an older age and witnessing revers gives me great strength to learn even more, Be Blessed@Theres_no_God_but_Allah_

2.The Tafsir Al-Quran needs to be revised , Especially the word Islam in tafsir must be interpreted so that there is no more misunderstanding.
👉Truly, the (recognized) religion in the sight of God is Islām [devotion to Him alone] . Those who have been given the Book did not differ (among themselves) until after the knowledge had come to them, (and all this) due to envy against each other. Whoever denies the verses of God, then, God is swift at reckoning.
(Al-Quran Āli-ʿImrān, Ayah 19) 👉Whoever seeks a way other than Islam,[[ i.e., full submission to the Will of God.]] it will never be accepted from them, and in the Hereafter they will be among the losers.(Al-Quran Āli-ʿImrān, Ayah 85) 3.Our Prophet Muhammad SAW rejected Judaism and Christianity because the religion of God is one is the Abraham faith (tauhid/monotheïsm) and Moses (peace be upon him) and Isa (peace be upon him) They did not create a religion they were to convey The revelations and carry out what was commanded in the holy book (torah and gospel). That was a community that had already gone before. For them is what they earned and for you is what you have earned. And you will not be accountable for what they have done.(Al-Quran Al-Baqarah,139-141)
All men used to be a single faith. Then (after they differed in matters of faith), God sent prophets carrying good news and warning, and sent down with them the Book with Truth to judge between people in matters of their dispute. But it was no other than those to whom it (the Book) was given who, led by envy against each other, disputed it after the clear signs had come to them. Then God, by His will, guided those who believed to the truth over which they disputed; and God guides whom He wills to the straight path.(Al-Quran Al-Baqarah[2] 213) You who believe, be mindful of God, as is His due, and make sure you devote yourselves to Him, to your dying moment.
Hold fast to God’s rope all together; do not split into factions. Remember God’s favour to you: you were enemies and then He brought your hearts together and you became brothers by His grace; you were about to fall into a pit of Fire and He saved you from it- in this way God makes His revelations clear to you so that you may be rightly guided.
Be a community that calls for what is good, urges what is right, and forbids what is wrong: those who do this are the successful ones.
Do not be like those who, after they have been given clear revelation, split into factions and fall into disputes: a terrible punishment awaits such people.(Al-Quran Ali-Imran[3] 102-105)
For indeed, this community of yours is one community and I am your Lord, so be mindful of Me.” but they have split their community into sects, each rejoicing in their own. So leave them in their negligence for some time.

The Messenger (Muhammad) has attained faith in what was sent down to him from his Lord, as have the believers. A prophet is forbidden to do bad and vain things, he went to war because he was ordered by God to defend himself. He was a gentle and kind person who would not think of hurting others. Prophet Muhammad's behaviour was under the supervision of God and the angel Gabriel was assigned by God as his spokesperson. Did you know that there is a verse in the Quran that rebukes the prophet for scowling at a blind man's disruptive behaviour during an important meeting. The blind man would not have noticed the prophet's frown, but God does not allow a prophet to do that. Surah abasa👉 👉 (The Prophet) frowned and turned away, Because there came to him the blind man (interrupting). But what could tell thee but that perchance he might grow (in spiritual understanding)?-Or that he might receive admonition, and the teaching might profit him? As to one who regards Himself as self-sufficient, To him dost thou attend; Though it is no blame to thee if he grow not (in spiritual understanding). But as to him who came to thee striving earnestly, And with fear (in his heart), Of him wast thou unmindful. By no means (should it be so)! For it is indeed a Message of instruction: Therefore let whoso will, keep it in remembrance. (It is) in Books held (greatly) in honour, Exalted (in dignity), kept pure and holy, (Written) by the hands of scribes-Honourable and Pious and Just. Woe to man! What hath made him reject Allah. From what stuff hath He created him? From a sperm-drop: He hath created him, and then mouldeth him in due proportions; Then doth He make His path smooth for him; Then He causeth him to die, and putteth him in his grave; Then, when it is His Will, He will raise him up (again). By no means hath he fulfilled what Allah hath commanded him. Then let man look at his food, (and how We provide it): For that We pour forth water in abundance, And We split the earth in fragments, And produce therein corn, And Grapes and nutritious plants, And Olives and Dates, And enclosed Gardens, dense with lofty trees, And fruits and fodder,-For use and convenience to you and your cattle. At length, when there comes the Deafening Noise,-That Day shall a man flee from his own brother, And from his mother and his father, And from his wife and his children. Each one of them, that Day, will have enough concern (of his own) to make him indifferent to the others. Some faces that Day will be beaming, Laughing, rejoicing. And other faces that Day will be dust-stained, Blackness will cover them: Such will be the Rejecters of Allah, the doers of iniquity.(Al-Quran Abasa 1-42)

Tabari recorded this story with the following chain of narration: Muhammad bin Hamid Al-Razi →Ibn Ishaq (born AD 704) [5]→Abdullah bin Abi Bakr (died AD 633) [6]. The 1st person in this chain is declared as an unreliable person by many Muslim scholars (Nasa’i, jawzjani etc). And the 2nd and 3rd person of this chain never met in real life. They lived around 70 years apart
Just to mention, you cannot find the killing part anywhere other than in the authority of Ibn Ishaq. All other sources quote Ibn Ishaq who never met the one he was claimed to hear this story from.

Subhanallah this struck home. I've been a practicing muslim for 10 years. Last few year were very been difficult emotionally and spiritually. There were times when i felt like i was in a free fall. But through it all, i never, ever left my 5 daily prayers alhamdulillah.
I realized that if it werent for islam, I'd have little reason to continue on. Alhamdulillah for the Iman that Allah has given me out of Him immense mercy and generotity.

Islam is miracle. If you in despair, always try pray sholah dhuha. u can find out what is sholah dhuha. when something problem happen to me.. i dont know how to solve it especially when I dont have money but I must earn money for me and my lovely little children. it is 2 rakkat dhuha prayer. I pray to Allah to help me.. because I knew anyone outside there cannot help me. After I pray, Micracle come. I cant say what is miracle is.. but u can feel it. I feel Allah take out burden from me that day.. everything I do.. can do it easily without feel worried, despair or hesitate. Allah ease my work that day.. i can feel it. Try to pray dhuha. u will feel it. And be confidence Allah will help you when you in praying.

1. Did Jesus founding Christianity? Did moses founding Judaism? And Muhammad founded Islam? Peace be upon them all. What is meant by Islam is probably the sharia that the prophet Muhammad taught. We must Focus on God and focus to what God has commanded, practice the teachings as in The Holy Scriptures of God (The Torah, the Gospel, the Quran) And obey the prophets, religions is made by man only make ppl blind, fanaticism And than Hostility arises. God sent down The Holy Scriptures to the prophets to deliver the words of God and The theaching monotheism/tauhid/Abraham faith. God commanded is to keep and practice the Torah, Gospel and Quran correctly. Therefore, God says (Quran 2:62) that he (God) does not really care about the religion man chose. As long as you only deify him Obey the law and carry out its commands And God said: Indeed, those who have attained faith and those who have Judaism and the Christians and the Sabians-whoever has attained faith in God and the Last Day and has acted righteously-then their reward is with their Lord, and no fear shall beupon them nor shall they grieve.
(Al-Quran Al-Baqarah:62) And this is how We have sent it (the Qur’ān) down as clear signs, and the fact is that God leads whom He wills to the right path.
As for those who believe and the Jews and the Sabians and the Christians and the Magians(Zoroastrian) and those who ascribe partners to God, God will judge between them on the Day of Judgment. Surely God is witness to every thing.(Al-Quran Al-Hajj[ 22]16-17)
2.The Tafsir Al-Quran needs to be revised , Especially the word Islam in tafsir must be interpreted so that there is no more misunderstanding.
👉Truly, the (recognized) religion in the sight of God is Islām [devotion to Him alone] . Those who have been given the Book did not differ (among themselves) until after the knowledge had come to them, (and all this) due to envy against each other. Whoever denies the verses of God, then, God is swift at reckoning.
(Al-Quran Āli-ʿImrān, Ayah 19) 👉Whoever seeks a way other than Islam,[[ i.e., full submission to the Will of God.]] it will never be accepted from them, and in the Hereafter they will be among the losers.(Al-Quran Āli-ʿImrān, Ayah 85) 3.Our Prophet Muhammad SAW rejected Judaism and Christianity because the religion of God is one is the Abraham faith (tauhid/monotheïsm) and Moses (peace be upon him) and Isa (peace be upon him) They did not create a religion they were to convey The revelations and carry out what was commanded in the holy book (torah and gospel). And in the Al-Quran Al-Hujurat[49]13-18 that Definition Islam is not as a religion, but it means surrender. 👉 O humanity! Indeed, We created you from a male and a female, and made you into peoples and tribes so that you may ˹get to˺ know one another. Surely the most noble of you in the sight of God is the most righteous among you. God is truly All-Knowing, All-Aware.˹Some of˺ the nomadic Arabs say, “We believe.” Say,(Muhammad PBUH),“You have not believed. But say, ‘We have Islam (surrender,submitted),’ for faith has not yet entered your hearts. But if you obey God and His Messenger ˹wholeheartedly˺,He will not discount anything from ˹the reward of˺ your deeds. God is truly All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”The ˹true˺ believers are only those who believe in God and His Messenger-never doubting-and strive with their wealth and their lives in the cause of God. They are the ones true in faith.Say, “Do you inform God of your faith, when God ˹already˺ knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth? And God has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of all things.”They regard their acceptance of Islam as a favour to you.Tell ˹them,[Muhammad PBUH], “Do not regard your Islam as a favour to me. Rather, it is God Who has done you a favour by guiding you to the faith, if ˹indeed˺you are faithful. Surely God knows the unseen of the heavens and earth. And God is All-Seeing of what you do.”(Al-Quran Al-Hujurat[49]13-18) Say (Muhammad PBUH), “As for me, my Lord has guided me to a straight path, the straight religion, the faith of Abraham who was upright and was not of those who associate partners with God.
Say, “My prayer, my offering, my life and my death are for God, the Lord of all the worlds.
For Him there is no partner. And thus I have been commanded, and I am the first one to submit.”Say, “Should I seek a lord other than God while He is the Lord of everything? And nobody does anything but to his own account, and no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return. Then He will let you know what you were disputing about.”It is He who made you the vicegerents of the earth and raised some of you in ranks over others, so that He may test you in what He has given you. Surely, your Lord is swift in punishing, and surely He is Most-Forgiving, Very-Merciful.(Al-Quran Al-An'am[6]161-165)
Say [Prophet] [to the Jews and Christians], ‘How can you argue with us about God when He is our Lord and your Lord? Our deeds belong to us, and yours to you. We devote ourselves entirely to Him.
Do you claim that Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants were all Jews or Christians?” Say, “Who is more knowledgeable: you or God?” Who does more wrong than those who hide the testimony they received from God? And God is never unaware of what you do.
That was a community that had already gone before. For them is what they earned and for you is what you have earned. And you will not be accountable for what they have done.(Al-Quran Al-Baqarah,139-141)
All men used to be a single faith. Then (after they differed in matters of faith), God sent prophets carrying good news and warning, and sent down with them the Book with Truth to judge between people in matters of their dispute. But it was no other than those to whom it (the Book) was given who, led by envy against each other, disputed it after the clear signs had come to them. Then God, by His will, guided those who believed to the truth over which they disputed; and God guides whom He wills to the straight path.(Al-Quran Al-Baqarah[2] 213) You who believe, be mindful of God, as is His due, and make sure you devote yourselves to Him, to your dying moment.
Hold fast to God’s rope all together; do not split into factions. Remember God’s favour to you: you were enemies and then He brought your hearts together and you became brothers by His grace; you were about to fall into a pit of Fire and He saved you from it- in this way God makes His revelations clear to you so that you may be rightly guided.
Be a community that calls for what is good, urges what is right, and forbids what is wrong: those who do this are the successful ones.
Do not be like those who, after they have been given clear revelation, split into factions and fall into disputes: a terrible punishment awaits such people.(Al-Quran Ali-Imran[3] 102-105)
For indeed, this community of yours is one community and I am your Lord, so be mindful of Me.” but they have split their community into sects, each rejoicing in their own. So leave them in their negligence for some time.
(Al-Quran Al-Muʾminūn,52-54)
The Messenger (Muhammad) has attained faith in what was sent down to him from his Lord, as have the believers. They have all attained faith in God and His angels and His scriptures and His messengers: “We make no distinction between any of His messengers.” And they said, “We have heard and obeyed.(Grant us) Your forgiveness, our Lord, for to You is the destiny.”(Al-Quran Al-Baqarah,285)

God commanded is to keep and practice the Torah, Gospel and Quran correctly. Therefore, God says (Quran 2:62) that he (God) does not really care about the religion man chose. As long as you only deify him Obey the law and carry out its commands And God said: Indeed, those who have attained faith and those who have Judaism and the Christians and the Sabians-whoever has attained faith in God and the Last Day and has acted righteously-then their reward is with their Lord, and no fear shall beupon them nor shall they grieve.
(Al-Quran Al-Baqarah:62) And this is how We have sent it (the Qur’ān) down as clear signs, and the fact is that God leads whom He wills to the right path.
As for those who believe and the Jews and the Sabians and the Christians and the Magians(Zoroastrian) and those who ascribe partners to God, God will judge between them on the Day of Judgment. Surely God is witness to every thing.(Al-Quran Al-Hajj[ 22]16-17)
2.The Tafsir Al-Quran needs to be revised , Especially the word Islam in tafsir must be interpreted so that there is no more misunderstanding.
👉Truly, the (recognized) religion in the sight of God is Islām [devotion to Him alone] . Those who have been given the Book did not differ (among themselves) until after the knowledge had come to them, (and all this) due to envy against each other. Whoever denies the verses of God, then, God is swift at reckoning.
(Al-Quran Āli-ʿImrān, Ayah 19) 👉Whoever seeks a way other than Islam,[[ i.e., full submission to the Will of God.]] it will never be accepted from them, and in the Hereafter they will be among the losers.(Al-Quran Āli-ʿImrān, Ayah 85) 3.Our Prophet Muhammad SAW rejected Judaism and Christianity because the religion of God is one is the Abraham faith (tauhid/monotheïsm) and Moses (peace be upon him) and Isa (peace be upon him) They did not create a religion they were to convey The revelations and carry out what was commanded in the holy book (torah and gospel). And in the Al-Quran Al-Hujurat[49]13-18 that Definition Islam is not as a religion, but it means surrender. 👉 O humanity! Indeed, We created you from a male and a female, and made you into peoples and tribes so that you may ˹get to˺ know one another. Surely the most noble of you in the sight of God is the most righteous among you. Say [Prophet] [to the Jews and Christians], ‘How can you argue with us about God when He is our Lord and your Lord? Our deeds belong to us, and yours to you. We devote ourselves entirely to Him.
Do you claim that Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants were all Jews or Christians?” Say, “Who is more knowledgeable: you or God?” Who does more wrong than those who hide the testimony they received from God? And God is never unaware of what you do.
That was a community that had already gone before. For them is what they earned and for you is what you have earned. And you will not be accountable for what they have done.(Al-Quran Al-Baqarah,139-141)
All men used to be a single faith. Then (after they differed in matters of faith), God sent prophets carrying good news and warning, and sent down with them the Book with Truth to judge between people in matters of their dispute. But it was no other than those to whom it (the Book) was given who, led by envy against each other, disputed it after the clear signs had come to them. Then God, by His will, guided those who believed to the truth over which they disputed; and God guides whom He wills to the straight path.(Al-Quran Al-Baqarah[2] 213) You who believe, be mindful of God, as is His due, and make sure you devote yourselves to Him, to your dying moment.
Hold fast to God’s rope all together; do not split into factions. Remember God’s favour to you: you were enemies and then He brought your hearts together and you became brothers by His grace; you were about to fall into a pit of Fire and He saved you from it- in this way God makes His revelations clear to you so that you may be rightly guided.
Be a community that calls for what is good, urges what is right, and forbids what is wrong: those who do this are the successful ones.
Do not be like those who, after they have been given clear revelation, split into factions and fall into disputes: a terrible punishment awaits such people.(Al-Quran Ali-Imran[3] 102-105)
For indeed, this community of yours is one community and I am your Lord, so be mindful of Me.” but they have split their community into sects, each rejoicing in their own. So leave them in their negligence for some time.

Assalamualaikum brother, i was so depressed and anxious i actually wanted to die. Then i went to therapy and slowly, i learn about Allah through the book 99 names of Allah. When i learn about God and one true God, I feel at ease.
Brother,as a revert, i dont bother myself with all the rules and regulations first because i know it will add on to my anxiety and depression..so i focused on prayer and learning more about Allah through Quran.
I read all the surah that would heal me..one of the thing Allah had said was, 'With hardship comes ease' and he said it twice!
I held on to the believe. And Alhamdulilah. I continued to focus on my salah 5 times and talk to Allah. Slowly, i start to feel better and look at other aspects of Islam.
There is no one size fits all. Im sure your journey will be a unique one but i pray Allah will guide you.
I pray that you can one day, wake up and smile and feel Allah's love deep in your bone.

Even as a born muslim, i can tell u that when i also didn't practice my religion fully, i was lost. Finally in 2023 i did tobah and started practicing islam more and more and started spening in Allah way more and more (helping others really really helps!) and Alhamdullilah i am now very satisfied and at peace in my mind.
U can do a lot with your energy ..earn jannah in this duniya by serving Allah and helping others...all your depression and anxiety will totally go away
