Yup.. In Islam Jesus(PBUH) was a prophet and one of the 25 messengers sent by Allah to guide people and to worship Allah through a religion called Christian. In Holy Quran Jesus was mentioned in numerous times. But we Muslim believed Jesus was not crucified instead Allah has lifted him to the Heaven and he will show up again to save the human before the end of the world.
You can be respectful and discuss who Jesus is/was and still disagree on His identity and what He did/does. As a Christian, to me Jesus is everything, the Creator of the universe, the Creator of the world we live in, the Son of God, God the Son, the Messiah, the One and Only Savior that came to earth taking on flesh, dying on a cross and being resurrected, the one who atones for sin if a person should place their faith and trust in what He did for them by dying and rising again. A person can say they are a Christian, Muslim or Jew, but that does not necessarily mean they know what it is to be those things.

There is a whole chapter in the Quran named Chapter Mary (or Meriem in Arabic), in honour of Mary the mother of Jesus. How can we mock prophet Jesus who is one of the many prophets we Muslims believe in.

I am a Christian who grew up in a very white and very Christian state. I served a mission for my church in Washington state. I had the privilege of meeting many wonderful Muslim individuals and families. They were the most respectful, humble, and kind than any other people we came across. It was almost always other Christians which were very rude to us. I learned from the Muslims I met that they love Jesus, know He was a prophet and that a true Muslim cannot disbelieve in Jesus and be seen a true believer. I was really impressed with the love and respect I was shown by Muslims. Truly a peaceful people. Unfortunately, the media tries to pit us against each other.

It wasn't translated, but the Muslims said "Sayyiduna Isa alayhis salaam" when referring to Jesus, which means "our master Jesus peace be upon him", which indicates the love and respect Muslims have for him. Also, Muslims believe that if a person seeks forgiveness from God, they will be forgiven as God is All-Forgiving.

As Christians we believe God is perfect and righteous in every way. How is Allah perfect in Forgiveness/Love and Justice towards sin/evil. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. So since all sin throughout their whole life, since God is perfect in Justice towards sin and evil “for no one is righteous before God by their own works” so if God just forgives then justice has then failed because there was no thing/someone who paid for all that sin in order for Gods justice system to be perfect. They say Jesus is a prophet because that’s literally what the Quran says. Jews don’t use religious scriptures where Jesus is mentioned as the messiah or a prophet, so why should they fon over him? Jews have resisted forced conversions and proselytizing to Christianity since the Roman era. Muslims never had to worry about that because when Islam was established, they spread like wildfire and dominated. If Muslims truly respected other beliefs, apostasy wouldn’t lead to harsh persecution in Islamic countries.
I have to say, i was more impressed with the Palestinian response to who or what Jesus means to them than the Jewish community as a whole. I am Christian and and am planning a trip to the holy land and i feel I would be more welcome there than in staying in in Israel right now. I respect all faiths and would only expect the same from others if I were to be a guest no matter what my religion is.

Why should Jews care about Jesus ? Jews have been in covenant with God for 5,000 years. Jesus is for the Gentile. He brought Judaism to the Gentile and so much the better for them. I would like to add one thing. Most of the people asked here, they respond by saying "Do you mean Issa/Jesus peace upon him?" like they would say for mohammed (Peace upon him). That means, Muslims believe in Jesus like they believe in Mohammed. According to the Koran, if you don't belive in Jesus, you are not a muslim.

Let me correct the first guy : everyone has to bear their own sins until they ask God for forgiveness (if the sin is against God) or make amends to the person that was aggrieved (if the sin is against that person, if that person forgives, God will only then forgive your sin)

I am a Christian. I never have portrait of Jesus or Mary in my home because I personally believe that's idolatry. I do have a cross, purpose being to symbolically proclaim to visitors that I am a Christian, but I don't bow down to the cross.

In so many words it does say he is God. John 10:30 says by Jesus "I and my father are ONE." He is the son of God but he is linked to the Father which means they are one. He is Lord, He is father. God the father, God the son, and God the holy spirit. Jesus is the only one that resides right next to God the Father right now, as I write this, he is right next to him. I don't know how many people are in Heaven but I do know that Jesus is the only one that has a seat right next to God. Yup.. In Islam Jesus(PBUH) was a prophet and one of the 25 messengers sent by Allah to guide people and to worship Allah through a religion called Christian. In Holy Quran Jesus was mentioned in numerous times. But we Muslim believed Jesus was not crucified instead Allah has lifted him to the Heaven and he will show up again to save the human before the end of the world.

As a Christian, to me Jesus is everything, the Creator of the universe, the Creator of the world we live in, the Son of God, God the Son, the Messiah, the One and Only Savior that came to earth taking on flesh, dying on a cross and being resurrected, the one who atones for sin if a person should place their faith and trust in what He did for them by dying and rising again. A person can say they are a Christian, Muslim or Jew, but that does not necessarily mean they know what it is to be those things.

There are many verses of the Quran that imply that an uncorrupted Torah and Gospel exist with Jews and Christians and commands them to judge (Sura 5:50) and perform by (sura 5:71) and study it (Sura 3:79). So it’s just funny that you say that these are from “the changed Bibles”, when it’s translated from the very manuscripts that YOUR prophet, YOUR quran, YOUR allah affirm. We have manuscripts that PRE-date Muhammad, we have the the Bible that he says “is with them”(Christians and Jews). What you lack understanding is that translated to English does not mean changed my friend. I can speak two languages and say the same sentence in both and it means the same thing. Based on all this information, I can assure you that the originals do say such a thing ☺️

I am a Christian who grew up in a very white and very Christian state. I served a mission for my church in Washington state. I had the privilege of meeting many wonderful Muslim individuals and families. They were the most respectful, humble, and kind than any other people we came across. It was almost always other Christians which were very rude to us. I learned from the Muslims I met that they love Jesus, know He was a prophet and that a true Muslim cannot disbelieve in Jesus and be seen a true believer. I was really impressed with the love and respect I was shown by Muslims. Truly a peaceful people. Unfortunately, the media tries to pit us against each other.

As Christians we believe God is perfect and righteous in every way. How is Allah perfect in Forgiveness/Love and Justice towards sin/evil. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. So since all sin throughout their whole life, since God is perfect in Justice towards sin and evil “for no one is righteous before God by their own works” so if God just forgives then justice has then failed because there was no thing/someone who paid for all that sin in order for Gods justice system to be perfect. I am Christian and and am planning a trip to the holy land and i feel I would be more welcome there than in staying in in Israel right now. I am a Christian. I never have portrait of Jesus or Mary in my home because I personally believe that's idolatry. I do have a cross, purpose being to symbolically proclaim to visitors that I am a Christian, but I don't bow down to the cross.

In so many words it does say he is God. John 10:30 says by Jesus "I and my father are ONE." He is the son of God but he is linked to the Father which means they are one. He is Lord, He is father.
