Yup.. In Islam Jesus(PBUH) was a prophet and one of the 25 messengers sent by Allah to guide people and to worship Allah through a religion called Christian. In Holy Quran Jesus was mentioned in numerous times. But we Muslim believed Jesus was not crucified instead Allah has lifted him to the Heaven and he will show up again to save the human before the end of the world.
You can be respectful and discuss who Jesus is/was and still disagree on His identity and what He did/does. As a Christian, to me Jesus is everything, the Creator of the universe, the Creator of the world we live in, the Son of God, God the Son, the Messiah, the One and Only Savior that came to earth taking on flesh, dying on a cross and being resurrected, the one who atones for sin if a person should place their faith and trust in what He did for them by dying and rising again. A person can say they are a Christian, Muslim or Jew, but that does not necessarily mean they know what it is to be those things.

It wasn't translated, but the Muslims said "Sayyiduna Isa alayhis salaam" when referring to Jesus, which means "our master Jesus peace be upon him", which indicates the love and respect Muslims have for him. Also, Muslims believe that if a person seeks forgiveness from God, they will be forgiven as God is All-Forgiving.

As Christians we believe God is perfect and righteous in every way. How is Allah perfect in Forgiveness/Love and Justice towards sin/evil. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. So since all sin throughout their whole life, since God is perfect in Justice towards sin and evil “for no one is righteous before God by their own works” so if God just forgives then justice has then failed because there was no thing/someone who paid for all that sin in order for Gods justice system to be perfect. They say Jesus is a prophet because that’s literally what the Quran says. Jews don’t use religious scriptures where Jesus is mentioned as the messiah or a prophet, so why should they fon over him? Muslims never had to worry about that because when Islam was established, they spread like wildfire and dominated. I am Christian and and am planning a trip to the holy land and i feel I would be more welcome there than in staying in in Israel right now. I am a Christian who grew up in a very white and very Christian state. I served a mission for my church in Washington state. I had the privilege of meeting many wonderful Muslim individuals and families. They were the most respectful, humble, and kind than any other people we came across. It was almost always other Christians which were very rude to us. I learned from the Muslims I met that they love Jesus, know He was a prophet and that a true Muslim cannot disbelieve in Jesus and be seen a true believer. I was really impressed with the love and respect I was shown by Muslims. Truly a peaceful people. Unfortunately, the media tries to pit us against each other.

In so many words it does say he is God. John 10:30 says by Jesus "I and my father are ONE." He is the son of God but he is linked to the Father which means they are one. He is Lord, He is father. God the father, God the son, and God the holy spirit. Jesus is the only one that resides right next to God the Father right now, as I write this, he is right next to him. I don't know how many people are in Heaven but I do know that Jesus is the only one that has a seat right next to God. I am a daughter of God but I will never have a seat next to his throne and neither will any of you, Jesus is God's only son, he has the power to heal people and he lived a perfect life on this earth and none of us ever have or will have a perfect life. The first person was stating incorrect information about Islam. God is infinitely forgiving "in the name of the most compassionate, merciful". It is not just hajj that can wash away your sins, so MANY things can wash away your sins. If you repent and learn from your sins (sincerely repent), God will definitely replace those sins to good deeds.

Allah won't forgive that person!", to which Allah replied that he'd forgive "that person" and won't accept the deeds of speaker; because he stepped into God's territory, and claimed that His mercy has limits. And best of all, we have Quran 39:53 "Say: "O 'Ibadi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! God isn't dead because Jesus rose up from the dead after his crucifixion and actually went up to heaven shortly thereafter, proving that God is an everlasting eternal God.
(Long comment warning, bare with me pretty please) Basically, Jesus died to bear the weight of sin (death) and essentially overcame that weight as he resurrected and then went to heaven. Within the last couple days before his death, he went to Jerusalem to pronounce that he is the true King of Kings, essentially, to overthrow the roman government at the time (who were very oppressive). However, the roman government saw that he was a threat to their power over the people, so they forced Pontius Pilate (roman ruler at the time) to execute him....ACCUSING him to be a rebel against the government and to their power. Pontius saw, however, right past their accusations and knew he was an innocent man. But, there was extreme pressure coming from his entourage to execute him...so he made a compromise. Pontius said that he will release an actual rebel against the government, that they already had arrested, free from jail...and in his place, Jesus will bare the punishment of the rebel. Jesus, literally, died in place of a criminal (sinner) and bared the punishment as an innocent man....and the criminal got to walk away scot-free, forgiven of his crimes. God (Jesus) chose to die a rebel's death to nullify our sins so we don't actually get condemned for them after we died (which is what hell is, a place made specifically for satan and fellow demons who were once angels in heaven who turned around and rebelled against God so they could be worshiped instead). In a sense, what satan did to God is where our sin originates from. The adam and eve story exemplify this concept, with their rejection of God's wisdom by eating the forbidden fruit (which was a temptation by satan, who told them they would be like God if they ate it). So ever since then, we, humanity, have been exiled from the place God intended us to be in (Garden of Eden) because of the conscious rebellion from the very beginning. However, God loves his creation. God yearns to have a relationship with us....but he respects the choices we make with our free will even if those choices are horrible. That doesn't stop him from trying to reach out to you like a good parent would do when they see their kid going down the wrong path. That's what John 3:16 means "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Basically, we have the freedom to do whatever we want, but Jesus served as the example of how much God loves you and yearns to have a connection with you so you may go home (heaven) after you die...because if you love and believe who Jesus was for all of us and try your best to live the truth and spread the truth here on Earth, God will see that you have had a change of heart and will be forgiven for your sins and allowed be in his kingdom as a child of God. Sin cannot enter heaven, and God knows we are sinners by nature because of the state of humanity as a whole and the wages of sin is death (that means, spiritual death which means going to hell) and God doesn't want us to choose that destiny, because he has prepared something eternal (forever) and special for our spirits to be, that is, heaven. Heaven would technically be our home since God created us and gave us spirit of life. What Jesus did, since he was a human being, was die in our place as sinners, and opened up a pathway to home (heaven) after death, so the only thing we really have to do now is truly believe Jesus is your savior and dedicate your love to Jesus with gratefulness by listening to what he taught and actually try to live a peaceful, forgiving, and unconditionally loving life. Similar to the saying "Treat other as you would treat yourself". Jesus was the example human we can all attempt to be, since we were made in the image of God. Therefore, the personality traits that Jesus had are also attainable by us. Though, Jesus had an extra quality to him because he was sinless, since he was God in the flesh and God is not sinful by nature. God specifically sent Jesus as a representative of himself (God) to show us who God really was, within this world clouded by sin and misjudgment. To come to conclusion, Jesus was indeed God, he was God trying to show us who he really was because God himself wants to have a deep relationship with us, his creation. God wants us to consciously, free will and all, to choose to be close to him by heart like a heavenly father and Jesus was an example of a human who loved his heavenly father with all of his spirit, and what better way to show that example than God himself showing us in a human form, the way a parent mentors a child. That is why Jesus said "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". John 14:6. I hope this comment cleared some things up in your thoughts and heart, I pray that you make the right choices in life leading you down the path of true happiness and full of love, for yourself and loved ones. Stay curious, stay ambitious, and if you want to know more about who Jesus was, try praying to him in private with all the questions you have like he is your best friend you can tell anything to. Yup.. In Islam Jesus(PBUH) was a prophet and one of the 25 messengers sent by Allah to guide people and to worship Allah through a religion called Christian. In Holy Quran Jesus was mentioned in numerous times. But we Muslim believed Jesus was not crucified instead Allah has lifted him to the Heaven and he will show up again to save the human before the end of the world.

As a Christian, to me Jesus is everything, the Creator of the universe, the Creator of the world we live in, the Son of God, God the Son, the Messiah, the One and Only Savior that came to earth taking on flesh, dying on a cross and being resurrected, the one who atones for sin if a person should place their faith and trust in what He did for them by dying and rising again. As Christians we believe God is perfect and righteous in every way. How is Allah perfect in Forgiveness/Love and Justice towards sin/evil. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. So since all sin throughout their whole life, since God is perfect in Justice towards sin and evil “for no one is righteous before God by their own works” so if God just forgives then justice has then failed because there was no thing/someone who paid for all that sin in order for Gods justice system to be perfect. I have to say, i was more impressed with the Palestinian response to who or what Jesus means to them than the Jewish community as a whole. I am Christian and and am planning a trip to the holy land and i feel I would be more welcome there than in staying in in Israel right now. I am a Christian who grew up in a very white and very Christian state. I served a mission for my church in Washington state. I had the privilege of meeting many wonderful Muslim individuals and families. They were the most respectful, humble, and kind than any other people we came across. It was almost always other Christians which were very rude to us. I learned from the Muslims I met that they love Jesus, know He was a prophet and that a true Muslim cannot disbelieve in Jesus and be seen a true believer. I was really impressed with the love and respect I was shown by Muslims. Truly a peaceful people. Unfortunately, the media tries to pit us against each other.

In so many words it does say he is God. John 10:30 says by Jesus "I and my father are ONE." He is the son of God but he is linked to the Father which means they are one. He is Lord, He is father. God the father, God the son, and God the holy spirit. Jesus is the only one that resides right next to God the Father right now, as I write this, he is right next to him. I don't know how many people are in Heaven but I do know that Jesus is the only one that has a seat right next to God. I am a daughter of God but I will never have a seat next to his throne and neither will any of you, Jesus is God's only son, he has the power to heal people and he lived a perfect life on this earth and none of us ever have or will have a perfect life. I am a Christian. I never have portrait of Jesus or Mary in my home because I personally believe that's idolatry. I do have a cross, purpose being to symbolically proclaim to visitors that I am a Christian, but I don't bow down to the cross.

It is not just hajj that can wash away your sins, so MANY things can wash away your sins. God isn't dead because Jesus rose up from the dead after his crucifixion and actually went up to heaven shortly thereafter, proving that God is an everlasting eternal God.
(Long comment warning, bare with me pretty please) Basically, Jesus died to bear the weight of sin (death) and essentially overcame that weight as he resurrected and then went to heaven. Within the last couple days before his death, he went to Jerusalem to pronounce that he is the true King of Kings, essentially, to overthrow the roman government at the time (who were very oppressive). However, the roman government saw that he was a threat to their power over the people, so they forced Pontius Pilate (roman ruler at the time) to execute him....ACCUSING him to be a rebel against the government and to their power. Pontius saw, however, right past their accusations and knew he was an innocent man. But, there was extreme pressure coming from his entourage to execute him...so he made a compromise. Pontius said that he will release an actual rebel against the government, that they already had arrested, free from jail...and in his place, Jesus will bare the punishment of the rebel. Jesus, literally, died in place of a criminal (sinner) and bared the punishment as an innocent man....and the criminal got to walk away scot-free, forgiven of his crimes. God (Jesus) chose to die a rebel's death to nullify our sins so we don't actually get condemned for them after we died (which is what hell is, a place made specifically for satan and fellow demons who were once angels in heaven who turned around and rebelled against God so they could be worshiped instead). In a sense, what satan did to God is where our sin originates from. The adam and eve story exemplify this concept, with their rejection of God's wisdom by eating the forbidden fruit (which was a temptation by satan, who told them they would be like God if they ate it). So ever since then, we, humanity, have been exiled from the place God intended us to be in (Garden of Eden) because of the conscious rebellion from the very beginning. However, God loves his creation. God yearns to have a relationship with us....but he respects the choices we make with our free will even if those choices are horrible. That doesn't stop him from trying to reach out to you like a good parent would do when they see their kid going down the wrong path. That's what John 3:16 means "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Basically, we have the freedom to do whatever we want, but Jesus served as the example of how much God loves you and yearns to have a connection with you so you may go home (heaven) after you die...because if you love and believe who Jesus was for all of us and try your best to live the truth and spread the truth here on Earth, God will see that you have had a change of heart and will be forgiven for your sins and allowed be in his kingdom as a child of God. Sin cannot enter heaven, and God knows we are sinners by nature because of the state of humanity as a whole and the wages of sin is death (that means, spiritual death which means going to hell) and God doesn't want us to choose that destiny, because he has prepared something eternal (forever) and special for our spirits to be, that is, heaven. Heaven would technically be our home since God created us and gave us spirit of life. What Jesus did, since he was a human being, was die in our place as sinners, and opened up a pathway to home (heaven) after death, so the only thing we really have to do now is truly believe Jesus is your savior and dedicate your love to Jesus with gratefulness by listening to what he taught and actually try to live a peaceful, forgiving, and unconditionally loving life. Similar to the saying "Treat other as you would treat yourself". Jesus was the example human we can all attempt to be, since we were made in the image of God. Therefore, the personality traits that Jesus had are also attainable by us. Though, Jesus had an extra quality to him because he was sinless, since he was God in the flesh and God is not sinful by nature. God specifically sent Jesus as a representative of himself (God) to show us who God really was, within this world clouded by sin and misjudgment. To come to conclusion, Jesus was indeed God, he was God trying to show us who he really was because God himself wants to have a deep relationship with us, his creation. God wants us to consciously, free will and all, to choose to be close to him by heart like a heavenly father and Jesus was an example of a human who loved his heavenly father with all of his spirit, and what better way to show that example than God himself showing us in a human form, the way a parent mentors a child. That is why Jesus said "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". John 14:6. I hope this comment cleared some things up in your thoughts and heart, I pray that you make the right choices in life leading you down the path of true happiness and full of love, for yourself and loved ones. We believe no Muslim can be a Muslim if he doesn't beleive in Jesus, the son of Mary, the messiah, the mighty prophet, who will return. We love him, we respect him, we revere him but we submit our will only to the Will and command of The One True God who sent him.
Jesus is a prophet like all prophets, for example Abrahim Noah David Muhammad Adam Elias Joseph and more. Each one of them was a messenger to his nation that he lived with to teach them how to obey their only one Creator and guide them. Each prophet was the best of the best of his nation. Jesus is regarded as the son of god after his 300+ years of his death. So it is man-made. I studied Islam and Christianity because technically they are the only two religions that claim to be the ultimate truth, and honestly Islam is so much more convincing.
