Great video as always Ron. 100% agree with you on the Denon’s. I just got the Noble Fokus Rex 5’s. Still listening to them and playing with all the EQ stuff. So far, I’m really digging the sound quality in particular.
How is the fit and volume of the Rex 5? 🤔
@ Both great so far. Just listened to them once so far this morning for a few hours. Still need to do the personalized sound test but otherwise fit my ears well and plenty loud and ways to adjust to make them louder and more heavy in the bass. Tons of ear tip options. More than I typically see. Both silicone and foam I believe.

I had the Devialet Gemini II’s as well but I would rate the Denon’s and the Rex 5’s over them. The Status Between 3ANC’s are up there too. I just ordered the foam tips that Status makes specifically for the 3ANC’s to see if I can get a better fit.

Great round up Ron. I love watching most of the TH-cam reviewers on TWS but I always come back to you for the final word on what's best as you tell it straight. I've owned most of your top 10 and agree with your rankings 95% of the time. I now refuse to buy another set of tws unless you say it beats the Devialet, Status or Denons. You're saving me a fortune on regret buys so thanks 😊
The 3anc really are the best bargain (but now I think the perl pros are at $150?!). It kinda sucks that everyone thinks we are bots when we talk about the 3anc though lol.

I like your top 10, hard to argue with it at all. If you have not tried the Mont Blanc MTB 03, please do. I think you would love them, dripping in quality and performance. The headphones are also fantastic. Happy holidays Ron!

My denon perl pros are phenomenonal. They give my wired flagship iems + dacs a good run for the money. Hard to believe that the Perl's do it wirelessly and even on aac. The ear EQ customization and spatial audio make all the difference. It's like room correction for your ears. If you've done Dirac or acoustic treatment for your stereo and listening room, you know how the room has the next biggest impact on sound after your chain and speakers. It seems to clearly also be the case for ears and tws.
I'd have the JLab epic lab edition instead of the devialet, but great top 10 💪

The new B&O Eleven earbuds are just a refresh of the EX. And they're touting them as a completely new model. Bowers & Wilkins completely redid the Pi8s. Take a look at Flossy Carter's review of the B&Os he was very disappointed. Own xm5 (sony) would like to try Denon Perl Pro.
Ron what high end silicone eartips could you recommend for sony xm5? I've ordered and tried AZLA SednaEarfit MAX Standard but its total trash - nor it would seal better than the original silicone tips (sony sent me gratis) nor it will stay in ear (not suitable for movement), the ANC and sound quality gets awful with Azla as well. Any suggestions?

I know it's not a fair comparison but those denon pearl pro sounds better then sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones?
yes, but sound is subjective. It has cleaner amplification. However the custom test takes a few runs to get something great.

I always say the 3ancs are the best value premium sounding tws. The Gemini 2s do sound slightly better imho but at over twice the price. Shame you can't get the Oppo enco X2 in the USA. £200 buds which can now be had for £40 (50 us) they sound fantastic, only a smidge behind the 3 anc for real bargain basement prices. (Better sound than az80s, sennheiserr etc) All for £40.

In your video test between Denon and Devialet you said Gemini 2 are better.
Yes. At that time, I believed that they were. But after listening to both and comparing them constantly, I found that the PerL Pro has a better sound. I wouldn't debate anyone if they thought the opposite. Both could be #1, in my opinion.
@@ronontech After your test I was about to buy the Devialet. Now I have doubts. Should I go for Denon. I like the very good sound and with a lot of bass.
@@steffrouendude the Perl's have incredible bass. Some of the best I've ever heard, even in wired iems and good amp/dacs. The Perl's can definitely cater to bass heads but it's always possible to turn down the bass easily and just enjoy the amazing bass but less of it for non basse heads. They sound good immediately out of the box but once you do an ear test it's next level. Do two more tests to fill up all the slots and then EQ your favorite if needed. Call quality and anc are good too.

Had the denon perl pro i got for black friday for like 200, used it for 3 days and returned it. Hot dumpster. Case charged the earbuds from 3/4 full maybe 3 times and it was DEAD!!! 🤣

Iam not a memory monster but iam sure 99.9 % you had made a gauntlet between denon and devialet in the past...

No. You're not wrong. And at that time, I did believe that. But, listening to both and comparing both on mulitple occasions, I have come to the conclusion that the PerL Pro has a better overall sound.
What's wrong with the B&O Beoplay EX and Eleven? They destroy the majority from this list.
Well...I haven't gotten the Eleven in for reveiw and comparison. As for the EX...they have great mids and highs, but their volume is too low, the bass isn't as good as even the EQs, and the ANC is absolutely awful. I'm a fan of B&O, but I have to call it as I see. The EQs were way better than the EX. And they discontinued the EQs...smh.
@ronontech I think your complains are down to a wrong fit/seal. The ANC beats my MTW4s, so as the bass. The EX definitely deserves to be in the top 3.

I don't hate Apple. Just don't own the iPods. I do have the Beats earbuds, but they didn't make the cut.
