This is without a doubt the best choreographed fight in manga I've read up until this point (in my opinion), and your coverage of it is excellently done. I truly believe that Gege is one of the best mangakas out there as far as fight choreography goes, and this fight is proving it. As another commenter pointed out in this feed (props to @interesting_title), the way that Gojo doesn't teleport out of Sukuna's domain nor does he back away from using Unlimited Void after it was defeated time and again, is proof that Gojo and Sukuna are not fighting for victory, but rather to prove who is the strongest sorcerer in all aspects of power. It is beautifully elucidated throughout the fight, and I can't wait to see the upcoming chapters! Personal theory: I believe that this fight will not actually entail any of Megumi's Ten Shadows techniques, contrary to popular opinion, simply because I think Sukuna desires to carve his dominance into the Jujutsu world using his own cursed techniques.
Seeming like sukuna doesn’t gaf about using ten shadows or not. He’s about to use it when he’s not even pushed into a corner for it to be necessary. Though one could argue that sukuna is the sole character who was able to learn to manually swap his vessel so it is a part of his skill
@@diogenesthecynic5172 Sukuna only cares about power, not about any semblance of "honor" or "morality" as other Sorcerer's might do (usually ones nowhere near as strong as Sukuna himself). He mastered the TS in like a day, did something nobody else was capable of doing in the history of the entire technique with Mahoraga, and now has a whole host of powerful techniques he's crafted from the base of the TS. That's still Sukuna, nobody else can do this, nobody at all. I think the fact is that Sukuna is looking to peel back Gojo's scales one by one and "devour" him. Sukuna doesn't really care how he does that as long as he's the one fighting. It's the same with Gojo boosting his HP to 200% before the fight and trying to one shot Sukuna, both will use anything they have, Gojo just has a comparatively smaller hand to play. Holding your own techniques back in a Sorcery battle is optimal if at all possible, nearly every sorcerer is hesitant to use what they have unless it's absolutely necessary because then the information is out there unless they are completely alone, and information is lethal, it's what almost got Gojo killed against Toji after all. You should treat whatever happens in this fight as their own power and skill. This is something many people with innate bias don't seem to be doing unfortunately. But the Ten Shadows is only broken because Sukuna can summon Mahoraga at will after one shotting it previously.
@@AveSicarius Don't get me wrong, I 100% agree with you. These "fraud" allegations towards Sukuna are done by people who don't understand character writing, nor the simple nuances of storytelling. My theory was simply wrong as I misinterpreted Sukuna's character, it doesn't make me appreciate this fight any less. If anything, I appreciate the fight more because it shows a more accurate dichotomy between the methods of the two "strongest". Cause was the first and last person to make him hold the L. Effectively JJK would probably be drastically different if Toji hadn't folded him like Sunday Laundry so technically we have Toji to thank for the Gojo we have today.

Sukuna will probably reverse his domain's condition to attack from the inside out. It's probably also possible to recover his CT with RCT and open another domain so he sandwiches Gojo's
He can't because both sukuna and gojo's domain have their sure hit effect cancel each other in the INSIDE, that's why in chapter 225 it's states whoever incurrs the most damage to the other will have their sure hit effect the other person, so that's why you see gojo in this chapter after casting his domain again engages with sukuna in hand to hand, it's also the reason as why sukuna doesn't just get hit by unlimited void all of a sudden even if he wasn't touching gojo.

It was not chipped by Sukuna. It chipped because Gojo expanded it to it's limit. The wider it gets, the weaker the barrier becomes. Gojo basically stretched it till it started to break
It’s simple. Density increases when volume decreases. Barrier wall density increases when size decreases hence makes it stronger. Limitless is essentially an infinite well like in quantum physics where it descends into a singularity that is Gojo’s cursed technique: infinity. The energy barrier gradient is likely steeper when the size decreases meaning trying to overcome the barrier goes from like climbing a hill to climbing a sudden and vertical wall. By shrinking the size, the barrier density increases which increases the amount of energy the break it and the barrier physical structure is stronger as well: more mass and stronger bonds in a smaller space.
Gojo still hasn't shown what he's learned during his vacation. Sukuna also hasn't used his other two options we know he has. I was a bit surprised the Domain Expansion battle happened so quickly since I thought this would've been their finishing moves, but probably not. I know that Gojo's sure-hit move is never going to hit since it's pretty much a Game Over, so I"m wondering how this battle will wrap up.
Domain expansion in every other fight signifies the pinnacle/climax of the fight. It’s used early in this fight to signify the strength of these two beings. Usually DE is a trump card, however, for Gojo and sukuna it is merely another technique at their disposal. They clashing DE like clashing swords😂

I've been thinking of this for a while specifically because infinite void directly correlates with Six eyes with the whole attack on mind thing. Limitless is essentially an infinite well like in quantum physics where it descends into a singularity that is Gojo’s cursed technique: infinity.

Domain expansion in every other fight signifies the pinnacle/climax of the fight. It’s used early in this fight to signify the strength of these two beings. I've been thinking of this for a while specifically because infinite void directly correlates with Six eyes with the whole attack on mind thing. Limitless having it's own would make sense BUT we've also never seen ANYONE in the series use 2 domains. It just may not be possible but this battle is all about the impossible lol.
