I don't know if anyone will read this but I just wanna share it and continue listening to this amazing song. I was always bullied by people around me. For some reason, no one tried to be friends with me, or talk to me like I'm a normal person. I was always lonely and developed anxiety and depression throughout my life, feeling useless, worthless, nothing but someone who doesn't deserve to live and feeling like I'm disappointing even the people that doesn't know me. I don't know what Am I living for, why do I continue and why was I born in the first place? I feel like my place isn't here, that I'm not worth to even breath but when I think of dying, leaving everything behind, I'm scared. I'm scared of making my family suffer when it's all my fault I feel like this. Truth is, no one wants to die for real, we just want to feel happy, just a little time when we don't have to worry about every little thing, when we don't have to cry and feel guilty, when we would smile and be happy. I stopped listening to music in 1992 Thanksgiving day, the day my father died. I know I had missed a lot of new music and having worked in the music business it was very difficult to walk away from. The only way I can explain "why" is that when I hear music I just don't listen to it, I "feel" the music more than hear it. It was by a fluke accident that that I was in a relationship with a musician. Someone I never wanted to be involved with, a musician. It was by God's grace he was a good man and had already lived the "rockstar's life" and that lifestyle no longer appealed to him. You still loved music and you love writing music they also wanted to be home with his family more than almost anything. My son called him "dad" and my parents loved him because they could see how much my son loved him. There's a famous song that he wrote with his guitarist and childhood friend. It was used in a movie but they never got credit for it. The song was written because of the passing of my father as well as several other friends that we lost in a very, very short amount of time. None by drugs or drinking and none from natural causes. It was a painful time to say the least. My father was the oldest at 54 and the youngest was 29. Now when I listen to music like this, I realized I missed a lot. Although, I know listening to this kind of quality music/lyrics would have broken me completely emotionally. Even now I struggle to listen but I can feel and hear the beauty in it as well. Yes, I'm very late to the party but at least I showed up. James Bay, thank you for sharing so much of yourself to all of us. ❤⚘🎼
We all live through experiences that “scar” us but those scars do not define who/what we are but nor should we forget those scars and how we got them. Scars are mistakes and we need to learn from them. I have more scars than I’d like but it’s an important lesson to never stop looking at them and learning from how we got them. I've just heared this song and it's more than this beautiful sound, the amazing voice and this touching lyrics... i feel the daughter, that flew from the prison of believings she was told every day since her birh and is just making a payphone call with the her left money to a loved one.. a homeless boy, who is freezing and took his last piece of hope and put it into a call to his trusted one, or a lover, who takes all his strange to call his loved one and pray for a second chance!! thank you SO much.

Music is alive and real again.
I stopped listening to music in 1992 Thanksgiving day, the day my father died.
I know I had missed a lot of new music and having worked in the music business it was very difficult to walk away from. The only way I can explain "why" is that when I hear music I just don't listen to it, I "feel" the music more than hear it.
It was by a fluke accident that that I was in a relationship with a musician. Someone I never wanted to be involved with, a musician. It was by God's grace he was a good man and had already lived the "rockstar's life" and that lifestyle no longer appealed to him. You still loved music and you love writing music they also wanted to be home with his family more than almost anything.
My son called him "dad" and my parents loved him because they could see how much my son loved him. There's a famous song that he wrote with his guitarist and childhood friend. It was used in a movie but they never got credit for it. The song was written because of the passing of my father as well as several other friends that we lost in a very, very short amount of time. None by drugs or drinking and none from natural causes. It was a painful time to say the least. My father was the oldest at 54 and the youngest was 29. Now when I listen to music like this, I realized I missed a lot. Although, I know listening to this kind of quality music/lyrics would have broken me completely emotionally. Even now I struggle to listen but I can feel and hear the beauty in it as well.

We all live through experiences that “scar” us but those scars do not define who/what we are but nor should we forget those scars and how we got them. Scars are mistakes and we need to learn from them. I have more scars than I’d like but it’s an important lesson to never stop looking at them and learning from how we got them.
